Can't see this filling. Can't see cashback helping.
MT might need to switch the URLs of this and the W********h loan and let the bots auto-gobble it up!

Hoped-for repayment of the storage facility (£300k+) might help. End date keeps shifting but only by one day each time so still expecting imminent settlement.

It is an interesting tranche as i see some of the money was going to be used to pay the interest on an extension of tranche 2.
If it doesnt go ahead i can see they might have short terms problems not only continuing the ground works but also funding the existing loan interest in a few months.
It may well take more than a few months to refinance the loan elsewhere if this tranche does not fill.

I didn't receive an email for this tranche (did get the cars one). It wasn't caught in a spam filter. Did anyone receive an email for this tranche? Photo updates on the works might give some encouragement on progress.

I think GDPR changes to mailing preferences for those who hadn’t responded may have been triggered early at MT. Some platforms just emailed saying mailing preferences would remain unchanged, and gave a link for anyone who wanted to unsubscribe.

Agreed, those that have been unable (or haven't got round) to change their privacy settings will no longer receive notice of new loans.
Incidently I've heard today (third hand so I can't vouch for its accuracy) that the reason the Los Angeles Times (and multiple other US newspapers owned by the same group) are no longer available in Europe is centered around the extensive use of analytics recording on their websites (in common with most websites), and their interpretation that GDPR requires EU users to give explicit permission directly to each and every analytics provider they use for the recording of the data, and the right to opt out.

A tad over £10K in the first 2 hours. Not looking good. Recycling a given pot of money from repayments into new loans is what I generally do. But with endlessly deferred repayments the wheel slows down and eventually stops. Sadly. Hopefully we'll get storage repaid before holiday park is withdrawn.

I do wonder if moneything has a backup plan with this loan in terms of big hitter underwriting.

"Today a 2% cashback has been added to this loan and this will be paid on drawdown provided that the full amount of the loan is subscribed. This loan will be available to lenders for a further 7 days, until 12pm on Monday 11th June. Please find below an update directly from borrower, xxx xxx"
Reading the update, it sounds like a good opportunity provided some Big Hitters open their wallets!

We have an update from the borrower, but yet again, nothing from an IMS and nothing from MoneyThing . Only 9% of this loan has shifted so far and I'm very dubious of there is sufficient appetite on the platform right now for this loan. I'm also not sure how much appetite MoneyThing has for this loan going forward. We've had zero engagement from any of the things on this thread which does little to instill confidence in the project.

This looks like the best P2P loan available at the moment.
I'm always cautious of taking the borrowers word though. Some up to date pictures would be nice.

If the loan pays back in November when due as the update suggests this works out at a rate of about 17%.
If you're trying to sell out of another tranche though I expect this spells out the end of that.

Seems like a good place to park this afternoon’s Lichfield repayments, anyway. If it did get pulled in a week’s time, it’s earned 13% in the meantime.

Will this tranche be underwritten after 7 days or the whole thing refinanced elsewhere ?
