Projected admission date of Nov 22nd...beginning to look like the beginning of the end ....if only there could be a favourable update on the Liverpool loan
Ps I see 13% interest is being levied ..does that include the 2% penalty figure?

In my World it should be 15% since the last payment (I have no idea of the top of my head when that was). That probably should be confirmed in the details by MoneyThing. I doubt they could do it, the interest being so far behind but it would be interesting to see what would happen if this was made tradeable. I'm happy to see it on the pending list but wont be counting my holiday ice creams (and potential flakes) till it is done and dusted. Next holiday for me is 25th November if MT needs a deadline.

Afternoon. 13% was the standard rate. As per our update on the 1st May, "an additional 2% pa interest will be applied to all outstanding interest payments (subject to receiving this from the borrower)." As such, subject to receipt, 15% will be applied to the outstanding lender interest payments. Kind regards, Ed.

Now it seems to be back on track. Will it be unsuspended?

Good news! I think MT will be very glad to have this one repay. Should be quite a few quid for their coffers too in overdue interest.
I note the end date is 23rd. Given the various issues with solicitors throughout, I think the middle of the following week may be more realistic - If the borrower has access to the funds early on the 22nd (??) I think it's asking too much for sols to transfer them by COB the same day (sadly!)

The 22nd is a Friday, so even assuming everything goes according to plan its very unlikely we will see it till the middle of the next week. In truth I doubt anybody would care much as long as the end was evident. It will be a big returning of funds and may improve the current SM condition which would be good for platform confidence. Probably a few more loans would need closing out before there would be any appetite for new loans. I suspect for many Liverpool and Newcastle would need to show hope as well. I hope (very much personally as its my biggest loan) it does progress well, I still have a hope that Moneything can get back in the game before long there is a big gap in the market at the moment.

Just a reminder that this is now only 3 days off on the NEX exchange, its still showing listed with a projected date of 22nd, as it gets closer I hope that means little chance of failure.
Fingers crossed, this is my largest MT holding, with a really decent chunk of interest due
