should this loan have paid a few pennies interest to those who invested on 17th? I know it's a fantastic opportunity paying 13% and you are probably very excited to be in it but please try and stay calm. On MT, interest is credited to your account on the monthly anniversary of the launch of the loan therefore you will not see a chunk of interest from this one until the 17th of August but rest assured every day since the 17th July the interest tally has been ticking up behind the scenes in your account and in a month's time when you see the rewards with your own eyes you will be very glad you made the decision to invest. I'm just starting my round of checking and logging in to all the websites that matter and now I'm off to the MT web to see if there's any of this one left.

Meanwhile, absolutley nothing of any interest has happened in relation to the borrower today for those who do DD

Am I wrong then... I thought the interest was paid on the monthiversary of the end date, i.e. 19th? M******** H***, for example pays on 18th (= expiry ) but was launched on 14th.

It does, but the first couple of days on new loans since the prefunding stopped has always (apart from 1 case iirc) been paid on the first full monthly anniversary, not the one that tends to happen 2 days after the loan goes live

I think the determining factor is whether the loan has drawn down. If it has then you get the 1-2 days interest between launch date and anniversary of end date immediately. If it has not then you receive interest on the next anniversary (but that interest includes payment for the days on which you had invested and the loan has not drawn down, so you do not lose anything either way).

I've just got back so haven't had a chance to look at this yet. Certainly interesting but as yet I just don't get it.
Someone buying one of 444 lodges in a picturesque setting with views over a loch or river valley, yes, I'd understand that. But a lodge looking out at 443 other sheds sat in the middle of nowhere in particular, surrounded by fairly ordinary countryside, allbeit with the attraction of a golf-course 24 miles away, isn't going to have me rushing for my chequebook. Will early buyers be happy to holiday there while the site is developed?
Not an industry I know anything about but seems to me that the present business with a few holiday lets is an appropriate use for this scrap of land: surely there are thousands of acres elsewhere with more to offer and better suited for a more ambitious development. Which may be why having obtained pp some years ago no one has gone ahead with the development before. It would seem to be about creating a resort where people would actually want to holiday rather than just putting up a few sheds in a remote field. I'd like to know what previous success the borrowers have had in doing that. I'd be quite happy with the loan at the current £2m valuation but it's when/if the pp is renewed and the valuation and loan is doubled that I might start to worry.
Others like it so maybe I'll change my mind when I read a bit more, but in the meantime I'll just watch with interest.

Money is pouring in to it (none of it mine) so if you want some better be quick. Well nearly a week after the launch, the funding seems to be reduced to a trickle, relying on the poundlanders, thereby showing signs of exponential decay and potential bollyfication ... Meanwhile I have been spending my time and money fishing within the green sea below and also prospecting on other shores.

I bet there won't be much left once the AE loans pay back...

Afternoon. As planned with the borrower, this loan will likely be drawing down on Wednesday (potentially Thursday). Regards, Ed.

Ed out of interest how does that work ? Say £200,000 is still available on Wednesday,
does the borrower accept £200,000 less does MT make up the difference does an underwriter come in do you have friendly BH's available
and can we expect on drawdown £200,000 to appear on the SM ?
