Welcome the forums everflow . The rules do prohibit borrower identification. That having been said the concerns are centred on a) breaches of confidentiality (many platforms disapprove of public borrower identification eg it might be a breach of platform Ts&Cs), b) commercial sensitivity, and c) what impact public discussion of identified borrowers and their loans might have on recovery prospects should a loan default. Tied in with point c) is concern around defamation risks born by forumites, the forum, and perhaps forum staff. I acknowledge that this rule is frustrating to many. We just haven't found a way to remove it without accruing risk that we are not comfortable with. I may be at risk of making policy on the fly here but I don't think self-identification is an issue. Indeed, I think everybody would benefit from more borrower engagement. If we see more borrowers use the P2PIF we might need to look at introducing a new "flare". For now I suspect putting a signature in place that says something like "I'm a borrower on the following platforms...." would be sufficient. Thanks registerme.. I've added a signature for now, please let me know if you want it changed at all, now or in the future. KR, Josh

I've just noticed that my signature doesn't appear on mobile (this is the first time of using on mobile).
Perhaps a flare might be useful after all 🤔

everflow, ablrateThanks for the update, well done, and I hope you continue to proceed towards your goals. Please continue to keep us informed as and when you can. From our side, I wish all transactions were this interactive. It's a really nice and welcome change. Even a tiny flow of info now and again, instead of the normal silence, can instill additional confidence.

everflow, thank you for the September update. The growth (assuming it is profitable) is good news, as is the expected delivery of year end accounts. However the office move sentence "We now have the capacity to take on further" simply ends - no information, no punctuation. Also, without more substance, talk of blockchain and AI makes me nervous. I can see that blockchain could be useful in billing / contracts, and AI could be useful in many areas of the business, but these are not shrink wrapped techs that can simply slot into an operation. If it's simply marketing speak then I'd suggest it's unnecessary, if it's not then I would be interested to know the actual levels of investment anticipated......

Hi registerme,
Thank you for the feedback. I'd be more than happy to discuss those points and more with you and other investors.
I'm not sure that a public forum is the right place to discuss information provided in confidence however.
Feel free (or anyone else) to PM me on the subject if you like?

Hi everflow and Happy New Year. It is quite a while since your last update so I wondered if you can provide a short summary on how business is going? What are your plans for eventual refinance of this loan?

A quick google search shows that T***** S***** resigned as a director of E******* in December last year. Will this have any impact on the PG given as security for this loan? ablrate

I had wondered why the premium over the last couple of months didn't appear to be commensurate with the loan variables: - rate - remaining term - borrower communications - borrower diversity (especially on ABL)

I had wondered why the premium over the last couple of months didn't appear to be commensurate with the loan variables: - rate - remaining term - borrower communications - borrower diversity (especially on ABL) The SM premium may be lowering because the loan only has a couple of months remaining. All loans seem to follow this pattern because they tend to be less attractive to buyers when there is little time left to recoup the premium paid with interest payments. I agree this was one of the more attractive loans, but all things come to an end....

ablrate, it looks like trades need to be restricted on this loan. All offers are either very low or negative yields. NOW FIXED.
