For any company to grow they need to attract the medium/bigger investors. With there 5% rent for 2 years as well though might make it a little bit more attractive to.

I'm surprised the email wasn't a bit more targeted, they only have 600 or so investors with a portfolio >£15k. Either that or something tiered might have been better to include everyone.

Actually 'beh' they must have at very least 1100 investors, but yes, a sliding scale of bonus for new investment would give everyone just a little extra to look forward to. Was it COL who recently offered 0.25% up to £5k for a particular loan? Perhaps Dan at PP will be willing to reconsider . . . 😕

It does seem strange to get an e-mail aimed at the minority sent to the poorer masses like myself. Something tiered that helps out the little guys would be nice

PP will be aware that some of those smaller investors that they currently have will be bigger investors just testing the water, so they will be trying to get them to invest more.

True, though in my world going from testing the water to £25k within a month is big leap. Perhaps I'm too much of a peasant to be of the required mindset

It's on the blog section of their website, you can filter it down to just open house near the bottom of the blog page. I believe the April data was the last time they did a breakdown of their investor stats.

It was always one of the more interesting stats and it's a pity they removed it. Similarly agree that I'd imagine it to be a big leap from testing the water to investing £25k in a month although they do seem to have picked up another ~£100k on the Sheffield property since then.

the 25K is money invested BEFORE scaleback - so a) you will probably be lucky to get 10K invested if you put up 25K - more like 7-8K given recent scalebacks b) the 5% will be calculated only on that 7-8K, so worth less. At least you get 3% on the money while awaiting scaleback details, which is better than on a savings account.

No scaleback on autoinvest. good point. I suppose I was thinking how a smaller investor might get a chunk of cashback without ending up with all £25 K over 4 or 5 properties. Could be 1-2 K per property after scaleback, which is more achievable (assuming you have the float to put up £25K to begin with).
