From the pictures you could easily be mistaken for thinking the latest listing is intended for students, the "flats" appear to be pretty small. Is there a market for people paying ~£900pm for that?

Must be a very good market given a serviced apartment operator is underwriting the rent on a 10 year contract.

The return of the pre-pre-order, is the current process not long enough?
1% cashback is a nice offer but is there going to be much enthusiasm for it without knowing the specifics of the PBSA?

Seems unlikely Huddersfield will get funded, even with the extra 1%. Perhaps doesn't help having 3 properties needing nearly £4m between them at the same time.

I also wonder whether people are waiting as long as possible to invest since they got rid of immediate income between point of investment and purchase completion.

My personal view on foreign students post brexit is fairly simple. Only a buffoon would think that the government would exclude them in anyway. They bring money into the country and they can't claim benefits nor can they work. BUT of course it's what foreign students think that counts. They may assume there not wanted or they maybe asked to leave part of the way through there course. Worrying so I am not adding any to my portfolio..... Well the new Scottish one, garunteed full occupancy till 2031. Will have a bit of that and no more PSBR.
