Does anyone have a family member or partner thinking of investing with Unbolted? There is a £100 referral offer (£50 for you and £50 for referee) but I can't refer my girlfriend because it's not available to people at the same address, so I'll invite yours if you invite mine The bonus pays out once the referee has £2k invested, which will probably take 2-3 months at current loan origination levels From the website: Earn £50 for every friend who signs up with us and lends £2000 or more. Your friend also receives £50.* *Your friends registered address must be different to yours. Please PM if interested, thanks EDIT: I've found someone to complete the offer with. Should you want a referral link anyway to get £50 on your first £2k invested feel free to PM me!

Not sure why sites keep offering referrals offers when they do not have the loans, growth street is a prime example to much money chasing too few loans and people are leaving. All the loans they have offered lately have all been snapped up pretty quickly, unless they have lots of large loans in the pipework which I doubt the only reason I can see is that they intend to lower the rates.

As far as i'm aware the offers been around for a while so I don't think it's indicative of lower rates (at least i hope not!)
Agree with the rest of your post, I'm with GS also so feel your pain on that one

Unbolted referral cashback has been halved, now £25 to the lender and introducer. Perhaps a reflection of the need to slow new lender numbers and I wouldn't be surprised to see it go altogether before the end of the year. My glass is half full so I like to think Unbolted has become very popular as opposed to stalled loan origination.

I squeaked in and received my £50 on Oct 31st,
Presumably the new rate applies for new introductions going forward, not retrospectively as I'm hoping for another payment for a colleague who joined a few weeks back?

You would presume so, dermot , after all the referral email will have been offering £50 at that time, so you would expect Unbolted to honour that. It certainly wouldn't leave a good first impression to any new investor, were they to find only 50% of their advertised new customer reward had been paid.

I've just been credited £25 though the email stated £50 for me. Hopefully it's automatic and they'll honour the extra... I've sent them an email, will report back

If you're getting no joy via email, you could put them on the spot via online chat. Was there an end date to the offer on the T&C's? Without one, you'd think its bordering on false advertising if they aren't prepared to honour the figure sent out in incentive emails.

They said I've missed the 30 day cut off since the offer changed, so just the 25.

Is there still any sort of referral offer? Does anyone want to refer me?

There is still a referral offer open to professional introducers, but for ordinary lenders like me AFAIK the referral offer has ended. Sadly.
