As expected, I missed out on a loan that I previously had a chance of buying. I don't like the new system for the same reason I don't buy raffle tickets anymore.....I never even even win the 'booby prize' that no one else wants. Looks like I will now miss out on all loans sub £500. My balance has already started rising as old loans repay and fewer new loans to buy. Looks like I will need to go elsewhere with new funds 😢 bit soon to tell though really, no? Ive always found any balance increase is a short lived blip. True IFISAcava bit with the lack of manual investing for those that previously could it will lead to longer cash drag. Maybe even to reducing pot sizes over time unless one uses the none provision trust loans heavily. Not something I would advocate.

Well I guess someone/s got something - there's this on the platform's recent loans list as well as the three mentioned by lionelrichtea and I didn't get any 2DFDC3C3B (Standard Loan (Provision Trust)) Sep 5, 2017 £1,000.00 0.85% Nor did I. Well, you could have knocked me down with a feather. I have just been allocated £5 in this one! Gremlins in the works?

So have I, but I’m not sure if it was a random one or not – maybe just a small allocation because of loan size? The loan has now increased to £1,0 30.29. Clearly a delayed allocation for some, still showing 5th September date. In Edit: actually its still showing as £1000 in the recent loans page - you can tell I'm a 'newbie' the difference is, of course, the fees

Just noticed in the Recent Loans page a new Provision Trust loan ( 2DFDC3C57) has been posted today for £6925.00
I haven't been allocated anything from this one, despite asking for Provision Trust loans in my auto-lend settings. I thought it was only small loans less than £1k that were randomly allocated?
Anybody else missed out on this one?

This has happened before, and I queried it, apparently it seems that some loans go into the recent loans page first while the borrower considers the offer. Once they accept, the amount loaned changes to that actually given to the borrower (this could be lower than the offer), and it's then allocated to investors. It'll probably be allocated by close of business today

I got a fiver in today. Out of a £1000 loan. Which I guess means that two hundred of us "got lucky". Which is meaningless unless we know how many didn't.......

I've not had anything - random small one or standard - since this change happened!

Zilch for me on 6th. I guess I wasn't very random yesterday.

Nothing random as yet, but as I was one of those who struggled to be around when smaller loans were put up for sale I am not really affected by the change. In any event, while £5 loan parts help build a diversified portfolio the interest return is not really worth losing too much sleep over. If the new arrangements reduce the administrative work and costs for the platform then perhaps they are to be welcomed.

Before the random system was introduced, I was able to pick up £10 and £25 chunks of loans on a regular basis. Along with the auto allocation, this kept my balance in a gradually reducing state and I had to keep topping it up on a regular basis. Now the opposite is occurring. I am not receiving any random £5 chunks (and don't expect to) and the auto allocation is not enough to offset the repayments. My balance is getting bigger as each repayment comes in and I will soon be taking money OUT of Unbolted for the first time and moving across to Col or LfSS. In my opinion this is a huge step backwards on a platform that I rate highly.
