Chatting to my German friends they say they were lucky to be invaded by a group of horny young male Americans, French, Canadians and Brits in around 1944 who spread sexual diseases throughout the country just as the first antibiotics came along, leading to the development of some serious contagion tracking systems. Switching the sexually transmitted tracing system to contact tracing was pretty easy. V pleased to read that, by omission, the Aussies and Kiwis were hygienic and "clean" then. 😄

Fortunately, all countries use exactly the same methods for reporting and are entirely open, honest, and transparent so we can absolutely rely on the statistics without question.

" and these directors end-up getting £2.6m or whatever" ........ oh, I'm sure someone will be popping round for a cup of tea and enquiring whether they'd consider donating it back?

Luxmore and Our Nige belong in jail. IMHO. Relax! They are all being investigated by the Financial Conduct Authority and at great haste. THAT, is what concerns me even more now.

Many thanks fellow investors for your comments, much appreciated. 👌. The background is that I was Unfairly Dismissed from this Employer, took them to Tribunal, and was duly awarded the Maximum amount. They didn't like that at all and are a very vindictive bunch, so I don't trust them. james100 has clarified nicely - "Yes", my concern is that my former Employers are using " overly-conservative payout rules and/or b) mathematical error (deliberate or not) in application of those rules? (or both)."I certainly need to hire a Specialist. Thank you all again.

I am about to take my Pension from a Defined Benefit/Final Salary Pension Scheme and, basically, I don't trust my former Employers to get the calculations correct on the Pension they have quoted me that I will receive. In particular I need to independently check that the assumptions etc that they use in their Pension Income calculations are "fair", "reasonable" and/or "acceptable" etc. I probably need to hire an Actuary or Pensions Calculations Specialist of some kind to do this vetting/checking/auditing but wonder if learned colleagues out there can confirm that this course of action is correct, or is there another avenue to pursue? Apologies if what I am wanting to achieve is not very clear, it's late and what little articulation I possess is fast deserting me as I type. As always, "Many Thanks" in advance. A Grateful OzBoy.

"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, err, by injection inside or, or, almost a cleaning, cause you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number in the lungs. So, it'd be interesting to check that."
www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wcQYA-ol_A
There's no doubt that he's talking about injecting disinfectant. But he rambles so much that people are genuinely questing his mental competence now. It is patently clear and obvious if you watch closely what Trump actually said and what he meant, he did not say " Inject yourself with disinfectant/bleach". As he spoke he continually looked to the side to his experts which again makes it obvious he was paraphrasing them, albeit clumsily. You have to "translate" with Trump as everyone knows (he clearly means a disinfectant type "effect") but he is being vilified for something/s he most definitely did not recommend. Funnily enough, current thinking also states that exposure to sunshine/Vitamin D is conducive to a small degree of added protection. tbh, anyone who took him literally should be charged for breathing air, and are much better off fulfilling Darwin's theories. I repeat, I am no Trump Lover, but I AM fair, and I can comprehend what I am undoubtedly hearing and seeing in the video clip.

I think the crux was that the bad valuations were done innocently. In which case.... Hmmmmmm, definitely NO Comment!

So it's fine for Donald Trump to say injecting bleach can cure the virus provided he says it's only his opinion? […]
[/agent69 mode on] Can you supply any proof of this, or is it fake news you just made up to support your case? [/agent69 mode off] In the clip I saw, Trump most certainly did not say injecting bleach can cure the virus. What he did was float the idea (while ill-advisedly 'thinking aloud' in real time as he does) for his scientific/medical support staff to take away and investigate as a rather naïve possibility. At no point did he say "injecting bleach can cure". Hey, bernythedolt, you are bang on correct! I have had no end of argument on my local website chat with people who are not only "ineffective listeners" but they're "ineffective watchers" as well. I mean, what you say is very clear to me, and yet even the "serious and respected" press are pushing and repeating this BS. For the record I am nowhere near a Trump Lover and he has many scary inadequacies, but we have to retain fairness and impartiality. The word "bleach" wasn't even mentioned, where did that come from? I suggest people calm down and take a VERY careful and studied re-watch and listen of the clip, and comprehend properly.
😊 👍

I support the interest rate cut, especially if it means RS surviving this period which is difficult for everyone. I would rather lose interest for a few months than lose RS and my capital! I'm not pulling money out because I think that will only make the problem worse like the run on the banks during the last financial crisis. I hope my faith in RS and its investors will be justified! IMHO you can't put faith in ANY P2P Platform, and you definitely shouldn't. Platforms are vastly inferior to Banks, owned by individuals who invariably have FA real business experience, and their interests are totally aligned with Borrowers, not with Lenders. Finally, to top it off, add in the FCA's proven track record of culpable complacency, with virtually zero interest in policing P2P properly and aiding & abetting rampant abuses, which includes *criminal activity. Honestly, have a very good rethink about "having faith". * I am not suggesting there is criminal activity at Ratesetter, come to your own conclusions regarding Platforms in general.

Anybody win this month? They have put off devaluating them for this plague month . Not sure for how long tho' . I have max amount and won £175 for May . Usually an average £100.That's absolutely extraordinary! You are very, VERY lucky travolta. I have the £50K max for nearly two years now and my average is just under £50 per month, and last October and November I received nothing for each month.
