As Ace says...stick your remaining allowance in a cash ISA & transfer on Apr 6th...when you'll also be able to do a partial transfer on the existing ISA. Assuming it's only going to be in there a very short time so the rate is irrelevant then the easiest thing to do is go for one offered by one of your existing banks, then you don't have to faff around with AML etc. And perhaps thing very carefully about what to do with "new" subscriptions in future...as with everything in p2p it pays to be a bit patient sometimes about initial investments....and that goes double for ISAs cos you can't offset any losses, many platforms charge transfer out fees, and there's no guarantee on liquidity anyway

They weren't newsletters as such, with any content. Just emails with teaser graphics about the evolution from TheBridgeCrowd to Somo. Also BC have been using the Somo branding at exhibitions of late. The new look and feel looks impressive and will hopefully help give Somo the recognition it deserves for being a top-tier P2P provider. Unlike most others I've come across, they express a genuine passion to chase up borrowers and pay back lenders on time. I think you're right but I wonder what incentivises them to do it when so many other platforms have demonstrably not done so? Well for one thing the family's money is invested as well.....but I think it's more that they have a LOT of experience in recoveries predating p2p so already knew what they were doing before a lot of platforms even started offering property loans. Whereas many other platforms in this part of the market had recovery plans that at best were rather theoretical...and I suspect at least one decided to not worry about it until it happened.

No payment this month, or was I just particularly unlucky? Too small? - We don't pay out amounts less than £10 until the year end (or if its the last payment to close an account). Perhaps your amount was less than £10? OR No repayments? - If you withdrew most of your funds prior to our announcement in May 2019, and you only have watchlist/default loans remaining in your account, then maybe you didn't receive any interest or capital repayments this month. To be sure, you can log in to check your account: www.bondmasoncore.com or we'd need to look at your account: you can email us at invest@bondmason.com It was more a question of curiosity (had I missed it) rather than concern. Actually have just logged in and it looks like there's over £100 sitting in cash so perhaps something repaid after this months run? So I guess I'll look forward to a nice payment next month

I don't understand why there is such a % disparity between my two accounts.
Presumably you were a non-ISA investor for a fair while before you opened your ISA...so your loan breakdown by cohorts will be quite different.

My experience of the wind-down is probably rather different from most because by sheer luck I requested a (full) withdrawal the week before, leaving about 20% of my investment unsellable spread pretty evenly between watchlist and recovery. It's quite encouraging that about a third has since been returned...but the remainder is still significantly more than total interest earned, and very little has been written off yet, so not much help with the tax bill either. Hey ho, will still be better than losses on some other platforms anyway

Have you sold out ? Are you intending to sell out ? or are you going to let it continue to run down till the end ?
I still have 3 years to go before I would be all out (still got just over 8k in).
I'm interested in what others have done or plan to do.
I was running mine down for 3yrs but by Sept was fed up of having to keep logging in to withdraw smaller & smaller amounts (I was down to 1700 by then from about 15k) so I hit sell on the rest to find I ended up with nearly £50 in stuck loans that had already triggered safeguard, most of which have now been fully paid off leaving just two totalling less than £10. Yesterday's quarterly( I don't recall seeing one before) safeguard statement, trumpeting how much SG has compensated me for but warning me it's not guaranteed makes me wonder if things are starting to look a bit dicey for the remaining safeguarded loans. Or it could be that the FCA has been having words. Either way I'm glad I didn't keep waiting for the final repayments, hopefully my remaining loans will pay out fully before any SG issues, but if not, I can live with the loss!

@brianc It faces approx. WSW I have it setup 4 Panels to catch sun early in morning 1 side and 10 on the other At this time of year it never reaches panels at much more than 45 degrees however in a summer mid afternoon will be beating down on the panels mid September about 13KWH a day. SO I should have 6 months or more better than that. The Batteries are a great asset too the other night I was charging at < 2P per KWH Was 13KWH your max or your average for Sept?

Apologies to anyone who used my original post as a short cut...appears I was misadvised (by Landbay) as to the postcode as I'm now being told it should be 7QA. Which probably explains why my new ISA provider have sent them docs twice and they've not received them. So that's 6 extra weeks of no interest for me...

So has anyone managed to transfer out an IFISA yet? I kicked mine off same day, and although I know my new ISA providers forwarded the request to LandBay in Dec, I've heard nothing from Landbay to even indicate it's being processed. Sure there was Xmas, but given its been 6 weeks more should have happened by now Not impressed landbayceo

Compare the "risk" when seeking affiliate income (cost of a domain/hosting) to that of actual lending - it really is a no-brainer And I speak as someone who has done fairly well from cashback. Specially if you can get others to fact check it all...

PB yes, agreed, cash ISA unlikely as those investing in this product will have used up all ISA allowance most likely. ISA transfers is the other option but may be a fee to discourage frequent small transfers. You can have a cash ISA and an IFISA and move cash between them if they are both flexible, so if you put £20,000 in an IFISA and removed say £100 and put it in a cash ISA you would have £19900 contributions in the IFISA and £100 contributions in the cash ISA. The rules just say 'cash' so I think it would work for BC. At the end of the tax year or when you get to £5000 in the cash ISA put it back in BC. Edit: Don't take my word for it! I did move funds between an IFISA and a cash ISA this year and it did work like that, but BC is a bit different. That idea will only work for current years funds

Goji was not forgotten, just not moved as we weren’t sure of their status and whether other products were offered, however I have now moved it. Well they still manage the ISA regulation for several platforms but not the same thing at all. Last investments accepted for investment with Goji itself was last Feb, so last money should be returned early March latest.

Strange - I only seem to have a few days worth at most - nothing older than the 14th currently and the stuff from 11th that was still there when I last checked (on Fri or Sat?) has been matched, and the amounts are pretty small. But maybe I've been lucky with my repayment timings vs more new money than usual, and have my loans more spread out...I don't have a big one due until the 20th (which will be about 20% of my holding)
