Yes, there were e-mails earlier this evening:
"I hope you are gearing up for a relaxing weekend, we have a little work to do as all three tranches of this loan (#04, #08, #19) have been paused in preperation of redemption. We expect the redemption to happen at some time early next week on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest."
Almost two years early!!

Another hole in the loan book - but the big one continues, for now. Origination must feel a bit like doing the moonwalk.

noob here. is it a bad news that loans are paid up earlier? If you bought recently at the massive premiums based on expected interest over the rest of the term to help break even then yes it is bad news elephantrosie. However, this was trailed a week or so back on the forum as the aircraft was found to be on sale.

I only went into ABLrate because of the different sector available. i.e aircraft. Since then there haven't been any! Well, just one, for dismantling!

Do wonder if the high premiums in general will continue to be paid in the future if the run of early payments continue but the aircraft seemed to be even higher just because of what they were

Wish the deep discounts would come back to make things better.

I do worry for the lenders offering 5% on loan 71, expecting it to run for years at 14% interest. But there is no minimum interest period and I rather think that someone paying around 25% per annum on a secured loan might have ideas of repaying before 2021. Let's also hope that the purchaser's 14% is not reduced to 11.2% by income tax, requiring six months just to break even, on this amortising loan.

Wish the deep discounts would come back to make things better. Two things that might help would be more new loans or if people stop paying the high premium.Do wonder some times when people say they don't want a new 8%-9% loan yet there are loans on the SM being bought at a premium taking them down to that range

Have you not noticed the change from sky to water on the home page, magenta? I think they went to throw the mythical bird's egg on the fire again, and found that the contents had already been eaten. True that some of the other 'secured' platforms make Ablrate's offers look gold plated and their supervision seem omniscient. We don't want a race to the bottom.

Is the borrower’s “life partner” in AC loan 560 aware of this early landing due to his almost (but not quite) 'encyclopaedic' knowledge of carriers and flight times?
