It would have been helpful if the email told us which existing borrower.

I'm wondering if the 5pm kick-off hints at the SM business being sorted by tomorrow afternoon? If it turn out to be so then the fix is going to take one hell of a stress-test in the run-up

Fortunately I had already been selling off car loans from a certain borrower. If OG is right, it will not matter anyway.

Could be another in the licensed trades. More smouldering days anyone?

I'm guessing more portacabins My best guess too given the only existing amortising loans at 13% are to F******* P********* Ltd. Additionally, security is via chattel mortgage as per loan #076.

note they only have planning permission for 2 of the 4 lodges? ... and my guess would be that once they have planning permission and the business has a trading history they'll seek to refinance at a lower rate, but hopefully not too far from the final payment for those who've purchased at a premium on the SM!

Not sure if the PP is an issue but guess Abl are happy but don't give them ideas

A wise observation. I always look at what the total cost is, and Ablrate get 10% up front plus 1% per month! That is more income that all the lenders combined! Best to consider this a short-term opportunity for the minimum 12 months, I think. I'm in.
