Well it all went in less than 24 hours so I don't think that bid limits would have slowed the fill rate too much, but may still have helped to expand the customer base on the platform.

Well in this case the loan was clearly 'a bit less popular' (only 13% , and the large wodge from the airplanes has already been spent) .. however I don't see that they (bid limit) would have actually harmed anyone (even if not needed) .. the BH's could still have had their bidfest at D+24hrs. The loan would have filled in about the same time (still well inside the announced listing period), and nobody would claim to have been disadvantaged by a 37 minute window in the middle of the day (5pm, fwiw, is still a problem for some people who actually work).
