This is an open question for Nicky from FundingKnight. Have you thought of displaying a loan statistics frame on your website to show a summary of loans made/amount lent etc? It provides a useful measure for users to gauge the growth of the platform. For example, you're streets ahead of RebuildingSociety in terms of loans originated, but you wouldn't know this from your public web pages. See: www.rebuildingsociety.com/about-us/A regularly updated stats frame shows there is life in the platform, which is likely to encourage both borrowers and lenders to sign up and use it. Speaking of regular updates, I know your FAQs page states how much you've lent since inception, but it's currently around £400k out of date, as I recall reading you passed the £2 million milestone a few weeks ago. Any thoughts?

nicky on a related issue to jimbo's post above, take a look at this page on the p2pmoney.co.uk website, and scroll down to the 3rd table titled "Company Size". The absence of Funding Knight from this table is down to the lack of publically available data on your operation. Given your success relative to rebuildingsociety.com which launched at the same time as you, I would have thought being more open about your success would be beneficial. If you haven't previously studied that website, also take a look at this page on which you are again noticable by your absence.

I have to concur that the lack of platform statistics on the FundingKnight website is a real negative.
I am currently testing the water across a number of platforms with prospect of investing more funds but in a few, unfortunately FundingKnight is on my list for potential withdrawal of fund rather than further investment not because of the available investments but simply because the information I want as part of my decision making process is not there.

Looks like the new Funding Knight public website has attempted to solve this problem. It now shows Loans Funded, a count of Loan Parts available on the secondary market, and one of live auctions. I think they could make further improvements by adding counts showing number of loans in progress, individual companies lent to, and the number of lenders registered on the platform.
What has been done so far is definitely a step in the right direction though.
Anybody else have any thoughts?

It's a start, but I rarely look at the public website as my bookmark is set to the login page.

All, Apologies for the delay in responding to this thread. I've been away to a (slightly chilly) wedding in the Lake District, coupled with a slightly hectic end to last week as the new site was prepared for launch. I hope that I won't normally be this slow to respond. jimbo Thank you for the question and the thread. We have wanted to put stats on the site for some time, but had to wait for the redesign to be launched before we could. As you have seen from the new website, the basic stats are now visible (and update in real time) on the top left of each page on the brochure site. The intention is that there will also be a link to a dedicated stats page, which I hope will give you all the info that you'd like to see. We may be a short way off that as a couple of other things are ahead of it in the priority queue (including much needed improvements to the emailing function which will eliminate some of the problems that some recipients have been experiencing in that area). I can't give you a timescale right now, but I hope that this is weeks rather than months away. mrclondon Thank you for the links, that's really useful. And a very good point re: our absence from those sites. Thanks for highlighting that. batchoy I'm sorry that you feel it is stopping you from investing. Can you give me an idea of the stats/info you would like to see to make you feel more comfortable investing? You can post them here or if you prefer, you are welcome to drop me an email with your preferences and I'd be happy to respond. Quickest way to reach me is via the info@ address on the site - just mark it for my attention. Re: Having the stats on the logged in page, I'm not sure on that one. I think we'd like to have it in the long term but suspect that it will be on the public site first. Thank you all for your suggestions and input on this subject. As you can see, it is firmly 'on the radar' right now and I hope that we will have more stats live on the site in the near future. In the meantime though, it is always really helpful to have our investors' input and we do try to incorporate the suggestions if at all possible. So if you have any preference/requests for particular stats, please do feel free to list them and I'll try to ensure they're included when the page is added. As always - no promises - but I'll do my best to get as much as I can included!
