Huh?
How can I breach a copyright in an article I wrote myself?? And that a person (in this case the CEO Greg Ryan) gives answers in an interview is the whole point of an interview. He gave the answers personally and authorized publication.

Sorry. Thought you had taken this as a quote from a magazine. However even if you had written the article and it appeared in a magazine and then you quoted from the magazine you likely would breach copyright.

Daric is to go live on Nov. 27th. Unlike originally planned the lending is open (right now) for people with accredited investor status - not the general public.

Moderator's!!! Is there a breach of Copyright in the quote from Wiseclerk's post? Publishing a link, with something describing its content, is not generally considered a breach of copyright*. Otherwise where would Google be, or all those blogs out there? * unless you are in France, where the French press are trying to stop Google linking to news articles...

You are right. Doing what you say would not be a breech of copyright but copying a significant chunk of the article into another domain without the copyright owners permission may well be. However it is usually accepted in the UK that you can quote up to about 200 words without seeking permission of the owner provided the source is fully quoted (Fred Bloggs, Tits Up Magazine, August 2013 Issue).
Copyright law is complex Worldwide but seriously so in the UK.
