Why do RS feel the need to throw this annoying ad onto the homepage every once in a while? Seem unable to close it on my browser as well. I'm no interested in RS 'doing all the hard work' thanks.

There is a little "X" barely visible, top right just outside the box.
But it is slow to react and the box's mere presence grates.

It won't close. Very poor this from Ratesetter.
They need bombarding with email complaints about this.

Is it about "let us do the work" pop up? There is a cross in top right corner, the ad goes away when I click on it. When I click on "start now" it takes me to instruction I have set up long time ago. I wonder why they are doing it? Short of investors to lend at 2.8% interest?

For me it’s the fact that it’s there every time I go to that page. Once... fair enough. Every time is just irritating.

Driving me nuts. The greyed-out cross doesn't respond for over a minute when I tap it. Email sent.

Yep, takes a minute to close when yo tap the cross. I think the problem it’s a page that has to close. My bank has a similar pop up box but the option of "do not show me again".

I agree it’s useful for some, but it’s annoying for many. So just give us an option to "not see this message again".
