Aesthetically pleasing as the new UI is I personally don't like the Jimmy Carr avatar Trivial suggestion time,... how about letting users link to their own avatar, which could also be included on the loan comments? lol... on the cards

Thanks for re-instating Borrower on SM. CI not so important.
Meanwhile perhaps a more androgynous general avatar?

I use two year old Firefox. Button to switch to the old UI works if I double click (doesn't respond to single click). Thanks for that - it works! In fact, it seems that it's not necessarily a "double-click" as two clicks works as well. (Double-click has the specific meaning in IT as two closely-spaced clicks; the button activates even if the clicks are a few seconds apart. Knowing that might help the development team track down the bug?) On the issue of displaying the transaction history, I can now report that I can see one entry in my account history: - an interest payment made today *since* my earlier posting. Could it be that the list of "current" transactions displayed by default is taking the start of the "current" period as being sometime today? An interest payment made yesterday appears only in the list of "archived" transactions. We're getting there!

I believe the new UI will only show transactions from today onwards (at least, until / unless a translation of old transactions into the new data format is attempted). Old transactions will only be accessible via the archive (or the old UI, whilst still available)
Ps. I’m rather relieved at this since the chances of “converting” historic transactions correctly back to the start of the Ablrate platform seemed rather slim, given the number of manual “work around” entries my own account history contains!)

Transaction report
Whilst I am glad to see the loan ID being used in the new transaction report I am less happy about the other changes. You could have warned us you were going to completely change the order of columns as well as which columns are included. My spreadsheet reads the transaction report to produce summaries of interest, capital held and many other things. I now need to urgently redo my spreadsheet to a) cope with the new layout and format and b) manage somehow to continue to read the old format for data from before today so that I can get some continuity.
This is not a small task - you may not have realised the impact of the changes but in future please be aware that a lot of people use the output from the transactions reports in their own spreadsheets and changes like this with no notice can cause a lot of extra work and annoyance.

What has happened to the view showing up coming repayments. This is the first thing I look at daily.
Another grumble about the acres of wasted whitespace.
On these grounds alone, I'd rather have the old layout permanently not just for a while.

LW 3rd box from the left ('All interest earned') - click on or around 'Next payment date: xx/yy/2018' Thanks new2p2p LW

Had the first payment so now have a new transaction in the account history and can see the columns, nice to have loan number - will be an improvement. Once download works, I see, have a split between old / new transaction, make it a bit messy - assuming this will be cleaned up, and everything in the same format.
Now the one I don't like is the view loan under current loans.
Used the wrong type of justification on the text - Loan 1000040 is displayed as Access .........Property(Icon) Finance Ltd
Padding out line spacing to meet left and right boundaries is just wrong - may depend on screen width how it looks, mine the second line of icons aren't vertically aligned, the word Property is right on top of the Maturity Date icon looks like Property is the icon name rather than part of the borrower name. Here the light grey text I don't like because the icon is darker takes the eye away from the text, and harder to read quickly, even more difficult when borrower text is spaced out the way it is. I find this a lot easy and requires less space - the icons add zero, nothing other than being meaningless icons..
Loan Number: 1000040 Loan Size: £500,000.00 Interest Rate: 12.000% Loaned by You: £xxxx.xx Borrower: A************** Ltd Maturity Date: 18/05/2018
Borrower is on a single line easy to read as you don't need to gaze down and read the second line, just scan eye left to right.
The trouble is with the icon layout, it's reading small blocks downwards, then eye has to jump up so it scanning left to right back up, rather than just scan across and down. The extra movement puts a strain on the eye muscles, made worse by the light shade which may just be skipped so have to double take and focus on the lighter shade.
You see how easy it is to miss something, was looking for Account History, I just couldn't see it found it under the drop down in the end, now gone back and the it is in the "all interest earned" box in small light green text "View Account History" now I'm asking myself has this been added or did I just totally overlook it, now I've found it, not a problem sure I will remember next time I look. Maybe it was the memories of old ui had me looking in the wrong place.

The vertical scroll bar on the tax statement runs off the bottom of the window? Should just be a coding error
Also we could do with a "mark all notification as read" icon alongside the bell or perhaps in the drop down list please. LW

Hi ablrate,
Can we have a "view all" option for current investments.
I have to click through 3 pages to see all my current investments currently

+1 for that. Anything which can't easily be downloaded (as .csv etc) I want to be able to copy/paste into a spreadsheet without having to piece together 3 or 4 pages (each with a heading) to get the right answer.

ablrate , thank you for this update (and quick fixes), I'm regularly stuck on mobile and this experience is now excellent.
Thankfully you've prepared us psychologically for UI update for some months and the tweak I have to do in Excel is nothing compared to that little bit of info under SM Sale/Buy/Acrd...THANK YOU!!!!!!
Requests - after a quick look:
Current Investments - per above i) scrollable ii) add Borrower (ie CI to mirror SM) iii) excel export
Transactions - consolidated, single line for SM Sales across different price points (ie Transactions to mirror Email)
Updates - mark all as read (I'm currently in the 100s rendering a useful device redundant)
Thanks again!

ablrate I still want to be able to select interest only loans on the SM or at least have them indicated - can that happen? Thanks

Looking good, but I agree with the comment above about displaying "current investments" on one page rather than split across several.
It would also be really useful if we could have some indication on the SM page of which investments we have bids pending. Bid amount would be good, but failing that maybe highlight in a different colour.
