It seems you have to physically transfer money out of Everyday Account to your bank account, and transfer back into Ratesetter ISA...?
Am I missing something as this seems necessarily laborious.....
Thanks for any comments

Thanks for any comments From what I understand that is how it has to be done on RS. I know that you can't transfer investments across, but as you say, transferring money shouldn't be an issue.
I did read on RS that this is the only way they do it, transfer it to your bank and then back to RS.
Maybe it is their way of ensuring they comply with the rules on transferring investments?

Thanks for any comments Yes you are missing something is the answer to your question. Have a closer look at the 'money in' options in the ISA account, you will see at the end, an option to transfer directly. Assuming the accounts are joined obviously.

That's strange, on my account (And I access both accounts from my dropdown menu so assume they are linked?) there is no option to transfer directly.

In the ISA account, go to 'Money in'. You then have 3 options. Debit card, bank transfer and finally transfer from Everyday account. It is possible I am being treated better than everybody else, but a little unlikely.

I have no 3rd option, only the usual 2.
Even on RS FAQ's it states that to transfer money from classic to ISA the funds need to be withdrawn to a UK account first.
If you have the option to transfer direct, great. But I don't, can only think that it relates to your ISA being 2017/2018 and mine being 2018/2019.

Ignore me! I haven't even got an RS ISA! I was viewing FC and looking at my ISA when I answered the question.
Think I am having a senior moment!!
P.s. If I am allowed to change my user ID, would you possibly let me have yours?

Its a curiously easy thing to get platforms mixed up, so don't feel to bad about it. I suspect befuddled is probably living up to their User ID after our exchange anyway.

Ignore me! I haven't even got an RS ISA! I was viewing FC and looking at my ISA when I answered the question. Sorry for the topic swerve, but I can't transfer between accounts on FC either. FC's FAQs say you must transfer out to a bank and in again, and I can't see any obvious way to do a direct transfer through the dashboard. If you have a method, can you post it to the FC board please.
