Glad it's not just me then. I bought all three earlier today and was just about to enter the details in my tracking spreadsheet and found exactly the same thing as you. Should I be concerned MoneyThing? |

They've suspended everything for the recovery payments processing
Standard procedure, but they really should put up better warning messages!

This normally happens overnight when nobody notices It always causes raised blood pressure when they do it during the day, and people think their loans are in trouble  And every time, we say the same thing... better warning messages please MoneyThing! |

Well it makes sense not to let you buy SM stuff with 'imaginary funds' which are just in (non-instantaneous) transit to a replacement loan, I think (a has been said) a better message would be nice (or even, if the Shuang is smart enough, SOME of the funds being available to withdraw/bid with (like whatever you had before the process started, and maybe the bit which is going to be actual cash when the music stops) and only the amount destined to be 'rolled forward' tied up until the beads stop moving.

MoneyThing seem to have an issue where they can't move cash between loans, they have to fully repay a loan then create another. I remember the first time this happened was when consolidating defaulted loan tranches into a single new defaulted loan. They did it during the day, there were no restrictions on withdrawals, so suddenly everyone had the full money in their account from a defaulted loan, and so of course everyone who was paying attention all tried to withdraw! Caused much fun to ensue as MT tried to populate the new loan but didn't have enough money since lots of people had entered withdrawals into the system... things were clogged for quite some time while MT had to unwind everything if my memory is correct... so this is why everything is suspended now when they do it

They have to suspend the entire platform while they process a single loan. And yes, the message needs improving. And yes, it has happened before...
