This weekend MoneyThing will be carrying out a full disaster recovery test on our live platform. This is to simulate unavailability and our ability to recover from a serious technical issue.
Periodic testing of disaster recovery processes is considered to be best practice and routine testing will help to ensure that we are fully able to deal with any potential real technical issues.
We will be carrying out our testing from 9pm on Saturday 12th May and the platform may be unavailable for up to 4 hours (depending on the speed of your ISP in terms of updating their DNS records). A holding page on our platform may be displayed to some users during the testing and it will not be possible for lenders to make any changes to their accounts during this time.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to customers and we will endeavour to complete the testing in a timely manner. We will send out an email to all customers when the testing has been completed.
