overall - as of today (03.02.19) 1 out of 20 loans has had 100% capital recovered the best scenario is that this will rise to 5 (although I doubt it!). Thus at least 75% of my first 20 have failed to produce a positive return - to be honest this is much worse than I was expecting but we will see what happens with the others.... So after choosing the worst 20 loans you could find on the platform, and calling it the "mega failures" thread, you now claim that you were expecting more than 25% of them to generate full return plus interest? If you expected any of these to make full returns, why would you have put them in a "mega failures" thread? Bonkers.

I am validating my initial decision to hold back - looks a good decision to me!
Of course I could have held back and seen them perform well (happens all the time when I trade gold!).
I was thinking about p2p lending for when I retire in a few years - glad I did my research first!

Yesterday you were saying you were invested in 8 of the Art loans (http://p2pindependentforum.com/post/311631) which are up there on your list above. You have also talked about taking legal action to get your money back on these loans. Make your mind up!

You have also talked about taking legal action to get your money back on these loans. Make your mind up! He has less than £1k invested in total, but has about ~£500 in the land rover, is in 8 of the art loans (so £200 at absolute minimum, but I would have guessed more than £25 in each if he put £500 in the land rover), so it doesn't leave much room for other loans. Would be interesting to know just how many loans he's actually in and why he spends so much time posting on FS when he has very little incentive given he's a successful property developer with other projects ongoing, yet spends more effort on examining a loan book that he's not even invested in. While I don't think it's anyone's business but my own, if i'm asking about others, then I should be willing to share myself; I'm in over 100 loans on FS, with the biggest single investment being £2k, but most being ~£150.

And the wife's investment ? When you said that you'd been reducing your investment on FS and you now had less than £1k invested, it's 100% certain you would have been including your total exposure, including your wife's investment,in that statistic. Nobody would ever claim otherwise so don't pull that one.

And the wife's investment ? So, enough of the suspense, you have less than £1k invested in FS, but the wife has how much?

none of your damn business - have you nothing better to worry about? Personally I am more concerned about what has happened with this art fiasco? Mainly for fellow investors some of whom I am concerned may possibly take a very large haircut.

When you are constantly disparaging a platform you are not invested in, while I am, then it is my business. After stating that to you previously, you then suddenly claim that maybe your wife is invested....

I am updating my main post on this one as per below Sorry if it depresses you as much as it does me but yet again the progress to date is not very encouraging but you don't have to read my thread and I am happy for people to politely disagree with me! Also some of the loans I refer to are on the SM at a discount so please feel free to buy them, make a profit ,prove me wrong and good luck to you! In summary I have updated another 10 loans - all have overdue loans and I think the best we can hope for is that 3 of them come good ( and that is being optimistic so here we go 21) Development plot Liverpool update 08/02/19Capital loan has been partially repaid but loan over a year late22) Reading 2 x 1 bed flatupdate 08/02/19Over a year late - looks like this may avoid being defaulted due to a possible sale
23) Roddymoor update 08/02/19 flrst overdue loan over 7 months late, all loans due by 9th march 2019loans available at discount on SM ...24) Formby
update 08/02/19this one just gets worse (I am in it) first loan over now over 13 months latefrom FS update....the value of the site has dropped significantly...25) Londonderry bar update 08/02/19over 2 years late – FS about to appoint receiver - puzzled why this one is not defaulted
26) Spilsby - did not sell at auction and now we have update 08/02/19
however much is that going to cost - loan is over 6 months late27) West Derby liverpool update 08/02/19
there is a chance this one may come good due to refinancing - currently a few days under a year late28 B****ford road update 08/02/19
Again may come good as FS have a deed of priority against lender who has a second charge on another property - first loan is over 6 months late 29 new brighton update 08/02/19
just get worse - loan over 8 months late
30 *iney bridge mill update 08/02/19 £222K loan over 4 months late – £38K loan due next week
£1.25m due early March 2019...what's the problem?

adrian77 Why can’t you get your head around updating (by editing) your original post (OP) without starting another thread, and then adding a post at the end of that thread mentioning you’ve updated it. Or else just adding your new list as a new post at the end of your original thread. Starting a new thread every time is the forum-equivalent of fly-tipping; dumping your rubbish where everyone has to see it as they pass by.

You've never once given a reason as to why you spend so much time ensuring people see all the negative news first when looking into FS.
I am not denying there is negative news, but as said, you ensure it is always at the top. You used to claim it was to help your fellow investors, but then you let slip that you have almost nothing invested, so they aren't fellow investors, so as before, I'm confused as to why you simply take the FS updates that are there for everyone to see, and just repeat them
