My brother (Lendy Lender) had a call from a Lendy representative asking for opinion and suggestions for improvments.
He said what we all want is quicker repayments/recoveries
A secondary market where interest is paid while up for sale The ability to sell at premium/discount A provision fund with fixed criteria for payout
He had a few more hints to a better platform like take the best bits from other P2P
From what he says he was told there will be several improvments comming soon other than FISA
Has anyone else had a call recently ??

Yes, I had a similar call. My new 'account manager' was trying to sell me the Lendy Wealth product but she wasn't pushy and accepted my reasons for not taking it. She also mentioned the FISA. I get the impression that Lendy are keen to pre-empt any criticism from investors and stem the flow of cash from the platform. I said that my main concern was lack of certainty, being told something in the updates with seemingly total conviction only for it to change a few days later. I said this had reduced my trust in Lendy, along with the gap between valuations and realised sales (for example on PBL167). She promised to pass those points on and didn't get unduly defensive which I was expecting. So overall it was a positive experience.

It was a positive experience when I received a call several months ago ... unfortunately, it didn't lead to any improvement in performance

My conversation with Paul64 and James a couple of months ago consequent on my TP review also had a lot of positive spin.
Ultimately it comes down to action and results, and I still have 2/3 of my loans overdue, and 75% of my funds IA, meaning I only got 25% of entitled interest and no repayment last month. I would love to give @lendy 4 or 5 stars, but until I start getting a reasonable return that's just a pipe-dream 😕
Needless to say I haven't received a call recently, in fact not even a call back when I requested one!

They say that if you are an alcoholic the biggest step to recovery you can take is to admit that you have a problem. Until Lendy get past the denial stage I can't see a lot changing.

I suspect the only improvement most people have any great interest in is an increase in the probability of getting their money back. I don't give a hoot about anything else.

That’s all good and well if you just want to take your money out. Then what do you do wit it ? Personally I make my money work for me to give a substantially higher return than the just “invest and forget”. It is to everyone’s benefit to have a platform that functions efficiently given the complexity of the projects that are financed. Infrastructure projects are notoriously difficult to manage and some expect it to be like buying a pound of mince. ie. Get cow,kill cow, mince meat and sell. It is much more complicated to build 25 houses. There should however be more oversight of ongoing projects along with proactive intervention if things seem to be going off track.

I have about £100K working elsewhere that I'm losing no sleep over, not that I'm losing any over the less than 4k I now have here. Sticking with Lendy and the diminishing chances of seeing the advertised high returns, as capital and expectations go down the drain in a pack of lies (whatever their origin) seems insanity to me...but each to their own.

Nothing positive can come from a phone call from Lendy. Something very bad a possibility though like me throwing myself under a bus  |
