ablrate - assume you meant 4th March? Could I suggest: 4. Enhancements to our comms department Apologies, couldn't resist I wish I could blame it on someone else, but it was all me..... the words' 'step away from the email system' are echoing in my ears...... In my defence I did say 'Enhancements to our marketing team' would be one of the use of funds... ...tenuous? OK... I refer my honourable friends to my earlier answer

Hi ablrate you asked for questions in advance and I wonder if I may propose a couple: 1) The container loans. These loans are my only loans on any P2P platform with 100% loss (at the time of writing). While I applaud your recovery efforts on these loans to date I would appreciate some guidance on the likelihood and timescales of future recoveries 2) As you also know, Ablrate is reliant on a very small number of borrowers at this stage. I know that you have plans for growth but there is clearly a risk in this model. Are any of those borrowers also investors in the platform and does that amplify risk? 3) When were your living will arrangements last reviewed and what do they currently look like? 4) Some loans are against security in other currencies (such as aircraft loans). Do you hedge the currency risk? not aiming to be negative or contentious - if only you'd give out chocolate from time to time you'd be my top platform by a country mile.

Good one for the webcast.. will put that one done. 3) When were your living will arrangements last reviewed and what do they currently look like? Also a good one, will cover that... but for this, we had a post authorisation call where we discussed our arrangements a couple of months ago. The FCA seemed impressed and followed up asking for our a further copy of our procedures and agreements. 4) Some loans are against security in other currencies (such as aircraft loans). Do you hedge the currency risk? Good question, will cover that also. not aiming to be negative or contentious - if only you'd give out chocolate from time to time you'd be my top platform by a country mile. Actually lots of chocolate (croissants, bacon sarnies etc) at an event we are planning for the 28th May at Ablrate HQ, Badgemore Park Golf Club. Thanks for your questions 1) The container loans. Positives
A good way to talk about what you are doing and why.
Much more info given on your directions
I felt I gained from the webcast.
Is the any way it could have been interactive?

Thanks - we thought that the audio/video wasn't awesome too.. we are getting a better camera set up and better audio (but it did not arrive in time!!!). The lapel mic works well with a video camera but wasn't so great when bandwidth isn't great. We are looking at other platforms than YouTube, that may provide a better interactive experience. Thanks for you feedback, appreciated.

Missed the first 5-10 mins, but felt what I saw enhanced my understanding of the company and its approach. A worthwhile venture.

I felt the webcast was positive, despite the bad quality of the audio.
Interacting with lenders and investors via a Webcast can go a long way to instilling confidence in the CrowdCube Ablrate offering. Getting candid insight about the past and present of the platform, and the vision of the future of the company, based on questions from lenders, is something that I couldn't imagine coming from most other platforms.
Many thanks David.

Hi ablrate any chance of a transcript? I'm afraid that the audio is so bad that I couldn't sit through much of it?
