Hi MoneyThing I see a charge registered against you has just been registered against you at CH by a speedy finance company. Do you have any comments around this?

At least it makes today's update re SM less ominous.

Less ominous? I'd say that suspending the secondary market (which has been paralysed for a while) is fairly ominous.

It's a rational consequence of the charge to avoid an unnecessary run. The holiday park bonds start selling; there a a few other loans that may repay soon. Let's wait for what they have to say.

This just seems to be a debenture (long term loan) agreement. I don't see anything ominous about it.

As the not-slow finance company is registered in the Seychelles we have no way to find out who its directors are. Also, I don't think it states how much the debenture is for. At least with Mr Kumar's £3,000,000 charge over FS, we knew who and how much.
Having said that, from my point of view the key issue is are the lenders interests properly ring fenced against this charge.
If only the FCA spent less time thinking up pointless concepts like the self-certified sophisticated investor and more time checking on the basics that actually protect our interests.

Further update on site. Appears loan related, but then why not suspend just that loan(s)? 'substantial' update promised for TMR morning.
Reason for financing has been given.

I believe that reason is a positive one and shows the commitment of MT ..the comment re the SM is intriguing ...not long to find out the facts
