The latest loan also did not fill up immediately and I got a lot more than usual through "Autoinvest" I skipped this loan because I am up to my limit with that borrower. I may not be the only one to limit lending that way.
Edit: Oops no, it's tomorrows loan I'm skipping for that reason. Today's loan I skipped because there is an element of planning speculation.

Given that we only got 85.9% of our requested Autoinvest amounts implies that the AutoInvest half was still oversubscribed. By 'requested Autoinvest amounts', do you mean the 'maximum pledge'? I wasn't aware we could request an autoinvest amount.

I wasn't aware we could request an autoinvest amount. Yes, your requested Autoinvest amount is your maximum pledge. I.e. the maximum pledge is the amount you are asking to invest in each project. I got 40% allocated today, but the loan hung around for a few minutes so I manually pledged the other 60%.

50% AutoInvested today. Again, the loan hung around for a few minutes after release which allowed me to manually grab another 50%.

Anyone going to pledge the extra 91p needed to make it fully funded?
Edit: Ah, there we go!

50% AutoInvested today. Again, the loan hung around for a few minutes after release which allowed me to manually grab another 50%. Sorry if this is stating the obvious but why don't you set your maximum pledge to the highest value possible (i.e. 20% of your portfolio)? You then only make available to the project the amount you want to invest. For example, your portfolio is £10,000, you set your maximum investment through autoinvest at £2,000 (and leave it there) and you want to invest £700 in the next project. You only make £700 available and in most instances that will be allocated. As your portfolio grows you increase your maximum investment from time to time. The only downside to this method is that you get an email to say that all your autoinvest funds are used up but that's easily sorted for the next project. Apologies if this is just too obvious for words.

The only downside to this method is that you get an email to say that all your autoinvest funds are used up but that's easily sorted for the next project. Apologies if this is just too obvious for words. That doesn't work for my current situation as it requires the Maximum Pledge in Autoinvest to be set far higher than the amount that I want to invest, so that when the AutoInvest rationing kicks in I still get the amount that I wanted. The system won't let me set me set my Maximum Pledge amount high enough to achieve this. Take today's loan as a prime example. I have a Standard account with £5k total in. I've set my max pledge to £1k, the highest allowed. I would like to lend £1k, but the system reasoned all Autoinvest pledges to 50% of Maximum Pledge, so I was only allocated £500. Which would be fine if this was the only funds that I had on the platform, as the strategy you suggest is an attempt to "game the system". Part of the problem here is that CP treat Standard and Autoinvest accounts independently when determining the Maximum Pledge Size that one is allowed to invest. This is obviously a ridiculous rule as it should be determined by one's total funds on the platform. I've had many discussions/arguments with CP over this, but they won't relent and we've had to agree to disagree. I have £15k in my IFISA account (fully invested), so I contend that I should be able to set my max pledge size in either account to £4k if I so desire (20% of my total funds on the platform). The division between Standard and IFISA is an artificial one that's driven by my ISA quotas elsewhere. My maximum pledge should be the maximum I wish to allocate to each loan on the platform and not be constrained by this artificial division. Incidentally, I see that there is a small availability in yesterday's loan right now for anyone who missed out. Presumably due to people cancelling their pledges.

Currently (10:15) still ~£19k available on todays CrowdProperty loan if anyone is interested. It's at a quoted rate of 7.8%, but it pays monthly so an XIRR of just over 8%.

Looks like a bit of a slowdown in new projects for CP. Only 2 per week currently forecast for this week and the next 3.

last loan fully funded in 2 minutes Yes, another massive spike in lenders. The last three loans had the following number of investors: 2106, 1917, 2361. The previous three had 1496, 1660 and 1546 and even those were substantive increases on the figures for many previous loans. Becoming more and more difficult to get a decent allocation in loans and I don't like the low investment caps, but it's great to see CP's business thriving in terms of number of lenders.

Just my opinion, the difficulties with some of the other p2p sites is having an effect, it is a case of trying to decide which sites will survive, I expect some consolidation and probably a couple of failures. The problem being trying to predict the winners and avoiding the failures.
