I'm happy to be unpopular. Shrink the page to 30% so there is no scrolling and copy the amount you want to invest so you can paste it. All possible within 10 seconds. 1 keystroke and 5 clicks I think.
Thanks for the tips, but still can't get any manual investment despite being poised and ready to go. Last 5 attempts got £0, only autoinvest crumbs.
It's a foot race.
I believe the software is well written in terms of locks and there is ample processing power for 1500 competitors, there is no screen freezes if you're late like some sites. The starter gun goes off but it doesn't matter if you make a slow start, it's the timestamp of the last submit button that will or at least should decide who gets in. I've not been investing much since the aberg* loan but the loan on tuesday was full in 15s, no room for errors.

It seemed to me that today's Hawick loan went in a lot less than 15 seconds. More like 5 seconds. I suspect that an increasing proportion of bids are being placed automatically using browser scripts. In future I'll only bother with manual bidding for loans over £1m.

I agree, the loans are going so quickly it’s impossible. Wish to stay fully funded but no chance at present.

CP, it's good to see your email early warning finally working rather than arriving 15 minutes after the loan was filled. That was always quite an IT feat to get wrong for so long, maybe that was the missing link to success... Now it arrives at the right time, it's like inviting more people into a pub which is already 4 deep at the bar.

That's odd. My CP 15 minute warnings have always arrived at about 09:45. I even managed a manual pledge today (sorry to gloat).

There are a couple of loans or over £1m next week, so manual pledges should be relatively easy to obtain.

It's not that I don't believe you. It's just that it's different for me. I have that same email from March 11th which is timestamped at 09:45.

My E mail arrives 09.45 prompt every time so far. The following "thanks for your cash" e mail is usually 1030 to 1100, sometimes/ maybe x2 before midday.

Mine always arrive around 9:45 as well
overthehill, It could always be your email provider, Yahoo, failing to scan for incoming mail frequently enough.

Yep, it leaves crowdproperty at 9.47 and the yahoo mail server deals with it immediately on arrival but it is sticking in this intermediate mail gateway for periods of 0->2 hours.

2,126 investors in the Laur******G5 investment today, so only the third time (I think) there's been over 2,000 investors in a project.
Unfortunately, CP's excellent reputation of solid 7 to 8% returns from safe investments seems to be spreading by the month, making it harder to get invested.
Next week there's £3Million-plus worth of investments available, so hopefully this might sate demand for a while.

Next week sees a project raise of £1.25m - some way above anything to date (excluding rollover loans).

Yes, and yet those of us who would like to sell our holdings - for some reason not necessarily confidence - can't through lack of a SM.
