Welcome p2pgirl, there is a wealth or info /experiences on this forum, look around you may find a second or 3rd home for funds that take your fancy.P2p landscape is changing a lot lately. Thanks dave4. This forum has been a huge resource for me - my results in p2p would have been significantly worse without it's insights and the knowledge of it's members!

Yes it was there before but was delayed. I suspect we will get close to 100% Auto-invest ceiling and it will not be funded in one day. Unless there are some special underwriting arrangements. The last auto-invest percentage reported on here was 12.36% for a £475k loan, I.e. 8 times over subscribed. It seems unlikely that a loan only 3.5 times that size would allow a full auto-invest allocation. Depends on how keen CP are on satisfying auto-investors compared to self selectors. You are largely right imho. The major caveat is, are people allowing for the low percentage when they place their "bids". I for one shall be reducing my auto-invest ceilings for the £1.7m loan. Or reducing the amount actually available to invest in the account. Or handling it manually as well and perhaps canceling the auto-invest pledge if if is too large. Or some combination of those.

Did you actually have a full £50 or more available as that's the minimum. So if it was £49.99 it wouldn't have been invested.

I am not sure how it works. If the ceiling is set to £490 and the % allocation comes to 10%, is there a £50 allocation ? Or Nil?

I expect you would still get the 10%, so £49, but it's just a guess. There's nothing to stop them allocating less than £50, as there used to be no minimum. I've still got some loans with just a few quid in. Also, when loans partially repay it can result in less than £50 balances.

Every other time I have done that my £50 has been invested. Maybe I need to ask what was different this time?

Whilst I can't claim to be overly concerned, I didn't get an allocation either despite enough funds being in place. Would be interesting going forward to know why.

I'd suggest asking CP directly. They made some software tweeks to address last week's platform crash, so they may have introduced a bug and not be aware of it.

With AutoInvest I got 7.13% of my maximum pledge on today's loan ("Land South Of Giff***s...").
What was your percentage, if you don't mind me asking?
I've now switched AutoInvest off on the next loan because its 7.2% return is on the miserly side compared to other loans.
