Any suggestions?
I have a small investment in a green energy storage company already but I'm looking at further diversifying my portfolio

plenty of solar and wind funds etc paying reasonable returns if you take the feel good factor into consideration.
BSIF, FSFL, UKW, TRIG all feature in my green portfolio.

Had quite a bit in ENER, INRG and ITM for some time but halved and then quartered when the sector crunched earlier this year and losses increased above set pain limits. Slight uptrend over the last three months, perhaps its going upwards again?

I've held NEE and SNAM but lack the stomach for the volatility

No just I see things that are app controlled etc as green. Being able via IFTTT and IOT to run dishwasher or washing machine etc at low carbon intensity periods, is a small step in the right direction. Have to say though that I'm very tempted to cash in now, I would be up 19% in a week.
I was going to sell one of my 2 remaining Oil companies but is up 20% over the last 2 days.
I do have a holding in Inland Homes, that I thought would do well, I see a builder building on brownfield sites being more green than using new land, unfortunately the markets disagree and I'm 20% down.
Hey Ho ! you can't win on every investment

Driving myself mad !
If I hold stocks priced in Euros And the £ goes up against the Euro the the value should fall if the share price in Euros doesn't change, am I right or am I totally confused
Overall my portfolio up 1.75% today ( as I write this ) Greener Shares ( Wind, Energy Storage etc) down, Oil and mining up. I want to green my portfolio, as greener is obviously the future, but I will only ditch oils when I see a downward trend rather than upward as currently (driven by oil prices )
so yes formeand perhaps millions of others the pocket beats the desire to help

If the £ goes up you get less £s for a given number of Euros so yes you are right.

According to the Economist Glasgow is a bust and we will not get an international carbon tax anywhere near $85/tonne so the world is basically doomed. No major player is making any real attempt to get off the oil nipple. Even Shell is just playing at it.

INRG has taken a nice bump today as Enphase results have been well received, seemingly spreading enthusiasm across the sector. I am also happy they have ditched the notorious greenwashers DRAX (The destroyer?).
I'm like them as; a. They're global (I'm not confident the UK are going to be at the forefront of any green revolution) b. The sector is still underdeveloped; the broad coverage of an ETF seems safer than trying to pick winners.
I'm not entirely onboard with the current weighting to utilities since the rebalance. Looking at the holdings, ENER seems more my thing. (Especially with the London listing NRJL that didn't exist when I bought INRG).

Chariot Oil and Gas recently renamed as Chariot energy, and it's as bad a case of greenwashing as you will see refer to themselves as green , but then you read the news and it's got an item on drilling for gas ...
