As Dean Martin used to say to the audience 'It's been a smooth ride so far'
It is my first loan which has mentioned the dreaded word Receivers, £100 per hour speed bumps !!

Which loan Overthehill?,….. I’m wondering if I’m also invested. There will be a message in your account if invested. H* R*, H*. Used to be a fantastic place, on holiday there every year as a child. Pebble beach, Denny Willis in his hayday, funicular railway, pier, cockles and jellied eels, I digress.

is it the same one where the borrower has been declared bankrupt and CP receivers are trying to secure first charge over other creditors.or one of my other ones where receivers are on standby.extension after extension is not always in our best interests.

Yes, sorry it does say Receivers are on standby at the bottom and have only been used unofficially as liason so far. I don't recall any others in my portfolio using Receivers and it's so tedious to check the messages as it is now to check the previous platform loans, nice change CP, no hidden agenda assumed !

I'd be very interested if you think there's any particular reason for this relatively small development getting into trouble? Obviously without giving sensitive info, can you give any idea what went wrong with the projected plans? E.g., were there any building issues, material shortages, unforeseen delays, or any sales problems? Many thanks.

There are big discrepencies in the update statements like the clock is running backwards! My instinct is CP have been diligently walking the borrower through this knowing there was no need panic. The big clue is no exit refinance was offered like other borrowers, I don't think we will be seeing this one again.

Well, CP seem to be as predictable as ever.
H* R*, H* has now fully repaid all invested capital, plus the 8% interest.

Interesting email on 7th Feb about the late Brighton loan and the sale falling through and we'll keep you informed. Then it is repaid in full by the 12th. As any small business owner will tell you, always keep some petty cash around. Penalty interest was correct as I checked it!

So who knew about these 2nd charge loan top-ups over the last 6 months. I'm seeing the first notification today for a batch of loans, didn't say who the lender was. How many ?

Just sifting through the messages myself.First impression.... Seems Cp have added directors ££ as second charge top up, to offsett shortfalls.?

I REALLY think CP should have told us when they did this. It doesn’t improve their publicised mantra of openness / transparency with lenders. I wouldn’t want too much of this before I reviewed any future loans on CP.

I feel slowly CP is going down the (just give us your money we know whats best, don't worry your pretty little head its only details) rout.
