Do you feel healthy? If so, just enjoy it .
You will know if you are overweight and its probably good to feel upset and so cut down and work harder.

Amazed that people actually talk about height in cm and weight in Kg. Really? Why? I'm amazed that the ludicrous dibnah measurements still refuse to die for some things...

Going back to the Stone Age again... they had to run and jump to catch berries, nuts, fish, birds and squirrels , which all helped to keep their weight down. Supermarkets refused to deliver back then because of the threat of dinosaurs.

Amazed that people actually talk about height in cm and weight in Kg. They don't - it's height in m usually. you say "one eighty" (1.80 m) not "one hundred and eighty" (180 cm) That's 6 foot in your base 12. (actually 5 11, but 6 foot in heels)

Not saying it should be one or the other - just surprised people are using metric for the height/weight. Don't think I've come across that before (except at the Docs). Do you folk also use the kilometer and decimeter etc ?

Not saying it should be one or the other - just surprised people are using metric for the height/weight. Don't think I've come across that before (except at the Docs). Do you folk also use the kilometer and decimeter etc ? km - Absolutely. Not for distances within the UK, obvs, that'd be silly... But I have owned a several of cars with kph speedos in the UK, and we've got a van at the mo with an mph speedo and km odo, thanks to somebody slapping an overlay on the dash for the IVA on import. I'm sorely tempted to change it back to as it should be. dm - No. But it's not exactly a hard one to figure out. The joys of base 10! In that other thread, I referred to Italians being fond of the ettogram at the butcher and deli counter. Just because there are multiple orders of magnitude, they don't all have to be used. The gym I go to has two dibnah treadmills, two metric ones. All four bikes, all four cross-trainers, both rowers are metric. If you want to use the cardio stuff on the dibnah runners, you have to put your weight in in lbs, not stones - so there's a stones-to-pounds lookup table on the wall next to them... Because 'murica.
