Been thinking the same thing, and in fact have emailed them twice in the last two weeks! No responses though. The entire platform seems to be in hibernation (hopefully, rather than just simply dead).

I received a series of mails yesterday regarding payment of a loan 1000082 unfortunately with 0 payment amount and no explanation so something is happening just maybe not what we would hope.

Received email an hour ago, 82 settled with full capital recovery. 18 months interest eaten up by receivers fees.

For what it's worth, Huddle confirmed in an email follow up that the settlement was split between legal fees and lenders, with Huddle itself not receiving any reimbursement.
I feel the pursuit of the security would likely have resulted in a better return for lenders in this instance, I wonder why it was decided otherwise. The lack of transparency in such cases across the P2P landscape is disappointing.

I am happy to take the capital repayments and this pushes me into positive territory (for the platform) if I don't get anything for my other investments back I would still walk away with a very small profit. To be honest I think Huddle have handled their wind down a lot better than most and hope to see my final 4 loans come to a conclusion that is better than any of my remaining FS or Lendy loans for which I am looking down the barrel of a significant loss. P2P once so much fun ended up being a costly life lesson.

P2P once so much fun ended up being a costly life lesson. The same here. Even better, I've entered a positive territory a while ago so I threat this repayment as a bonus. I've got 4 loans left on HC, 2 performing and 2 defaults - whichever way it will pan out I'll be in good profit on HC. However, my steak in HC loans was very little so the impact is very small. As for overall p2p portfolio performance, the COL outcome will be crucial. I've managed to get in positive territory with FS (just), Lendy will definitely be some loss, but not catastrophic, I see a chance to break even on MT and my expected loss on BM will be small. Don't know how long it will take me to have a clearer picture, mostly depends on BDO's outcome, but I think the profit made from RS, GS, Z, FC and Landbay could offset the losses made elsewhere. Also most of my other platforms perform well, so I hope in 2 or 3 years from now I will be able to claim a "positive territory".

Looks like there login page is no longer secure which is a bit worrying ? Has been for a long time, 11 months iirc. I think this is because they didn't renew the certificate, but I'm not sure. I still login to make withdrawals.

The previous expired certificate was renewed, after quite a long period as I recall, we are getting on towards 3months without any action.

Hi. I’m doing some digging into the wider Huddle Entity and the people who set it up. I see that there was a loan to a company called something like ‘Brought Club/Night Club. Does anyone know this loan, and if so what was the full company name (and if you have it registration number) of the borrower? Thank you.

Does anyone know this loan, and if so what was the full company name (and if you have it registration number) of the borrower? Thank you. You could search the forum, your find 1000057 - 'B***** N***** with the various comments, the final one being repaid.
The way to get details is become a DD member then go to the General DD Discussion Forum, your see Huddle, sub-forum, then under that is the Huddle Loan Book with links. To use the links, first login to your Huddle account then, click on the link, for Loan 1000057, should still be able to see the various documents, repayments, works for myself.
Details aren't put on this public forum, moderators are likely to remove them, DD forums are private, and for active forum members for exchange details.
Your need to add a security except for huddle as their certificate has expired.
Not sure why your asking either, as said the Loan has been repaid, as such any matter concerning P2P are no longer relevant, you could speak to Huddle directly to obtain information.

Looks like the Archway loan is back on track, Huddle seem to quietly be sorting out there bad loans which is nice to see and they even automatically pay out the cash when they get it so no need to log on and ask for it. To give Huddle credit they seem to be doing the right thing with their loan book rather than running off and letting an administrator fill their pockets with our money.

According to the Financial Services Register, the FCA Appointed Representative status 778430 of Huddle Capital Limited ended on 11 Jan 2022. The P2P platform must be in wind-down, as Huddle Capital has no FCA authorisation to carry on regulated business. The site still claims "Huddle Capital Limited is an Appointed Representative of rebuildingsociety.com, a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm registration number 656344."Company name changed to DJP SERVICES NE LIMITED on 12 May,

No choice. FCA effectively blocked Rebs from being an AR a while ago so the platforms using it either had stop lending, pivot to unregulated (which is what Huddle have largely done) or get their own licence (Sourced)
