from the offgen website www.ofgem.gov.uk/information-consumers/energy-advice-households/check-compensation-rules-power-cut-or-supply-problemIf the power was off for 24 hours (Storm Category 1) or 48 hours (Storm Category 2). Ofgem checks and verifies storm categories. You can get a further £70 for each additional 12 hours of being off supply, up to a total of £700.I assume it was category 2 but anyone still off should be entitled to about £560 by now, yes I know it wont compensate for the cold or food etc that's gone off or defrosted. Although I did hear one silly sod saying "food in freezer is defrosting I keep opening it to check" leave it shut it will defrost slower note you need to claim its not automatic and you claim against network operator not your electricity supplier www.energynetworks.org/stormarwen
