Sorry to sound dim here, but last week I opened up an account with a few P2Ps, one of which is Unbolted. As a start, I only
transferred a small amount into each. In the case of Unbolted, I invested the whole amount yesterday into 'Working Capital Borrower' and a pop-up notified me this had been accepted
after I clicked 'Submit'.
However, the dashboard showed the cash balance was still there and yet this is the money I had invested. I emailed Unbolted support and was told the "‘autolend’ will allocate your cash to a loan when they come available."
So can anyone indicate how long money usually waits before being allocated to loan?
Thanks
David

Suggest you turn on the autolend on other loan types to increase the rate of lending. Money doesn't exactly fly out on this platform - it's taken me 5 weeks to lend £540 (all autolends on @ £100 max)

My recent experience is that I'm able to net deploy £250-£300 a month with all my auto lend limits set at £1,000 and maintaining a cash float of £200-£500. The size of your cash balance does seem to affect loan allocation size under auto lend, but I'm unsure of the exact relationship beyond my observation that holding more than £500 does not seem to increase allocations.

If you want to get funds lent quickly I would suggest Loanpad and Elfin Market, both seem to lend pretty much instantly (currently).

Unfortunately that class is the one that tends to have the fewest loans especially as it is capped per borrower rather than individual loans. As others, have suggested youd be better to turn on the others as well. My portfolio is about 60% standard and 40% gold (I actually dont have working capital activated, cant remember why but when I did it was about 2 loans out of 200 so they seem scarce - somebody else maybe be able to say if this is true) I drip fed money in £50 chunks, took about 3-4 days for each chuck to be lent on a £10 max, and now it is largely self sustaining with minimal cash drag.

As far as I'm aware, there were no "working capital" loans for a while. It's the other two "standard/business" and "gold" that have a continuous flow. I think you will struggle to get invested and diversified if you exclude the two main categories. If you want to get the most of UB you will be better off activating all three. My setting on "WC" is much lower than on the other two because they always deliver full allocation for me and we have an option to add - UB always sends an-email, if you select to receive them, inviting to invest more manually for WCs as they are normally too large to fill by "Auto-Lend". I get new allocations almost every day - had to add some funds three times in the past two weeks in order to keep up with the loan flow.
