You see more and more QR codes on TV and in adverts saying scan here to be taken to a website.
So how many QR codes are there, how do you get one and is there a cost?

There's various types of QR codes, and they're easily created free online. It took me two seconds to cut'n'paste the URL to this thread into one random QR generator. It took longer to screenshot it, trim it, upload it to an image hosting site - and that was not exactly onerous.  |
