Vote for it? I'd ask it out for dinner - it might have a few racing tips up its sleeve! What an interesting academic exercise. From breaking the Enigma code to beating the world's best chess players decades ago, this was always on the cards. I'd imagine an Oxbridge PPE is still reasonably rigorous (as a STEM graduate myself, this is obviously said through gritted teeth  ), so this showcases some brilliant AI engineers once again. But nobody thinks Garry Kasparov was a chess muppet having lost to Deep Blue. We'll continue to remember many politicians as muppets, but not because AI could do a better job  . |
