A little while ago CP said they would batches of loan updates once a week on Fridays.
That happened for a while but am I alone in not receiving one for several months ?
I have 13 loans in default and have not received any updates since the 15th January - very nearly 2 months ago.
I find this REALLY disappointing and does not build my confidence in CP.

I've had one most weeks during that time.
Perhaps there weren't any updates for your loans. You can check each one manually on the platform.

Yeah I get them Friday evenings, about 6pm.
But you'll only get the updates if the projects you're involved have been updated in the last week, or any of your projects started or repaid. If not, you won't have anything to be updated on, hence no email.

I know I will only get updates on my loans as and when they are available.
My concern is that I have 13 overdue loans and the most recent update was in mid January , lots of my other loans have not had updates for over 3 months.

Be careful what you wish for.....  Had some updates today. One reported refinancing failed. Another had just appointed LPA receiver. |

How are the nerves holding up active investors ? I think there are easier rides out there for a few percent less.

Without a doubt. My nerves went about two years ago,… been trying to get out since, without great success…..

Is there ever any positive news with these 'updates'? I have to pop a few Valium pills before I muster the courage to read any of them! That's just given me an idea: P2P platforms should consider going into partnership with pharmaceutical firms and would earn a pretty penny upselling their anti-anxiety products to their downtrodden investors.

I looked into a few defaults tonight. I was surprised at the amount of detail provided. It is good to see and doesn't just set a positive tone always.
I would like to see them update as appropriate or every 3 months rather than rigidly sticking to quarterly.
I would also like to see original valuation reports.
I think it is quite obvious that at least one of the 3 I looked at will be a loss. I think they should just say what the expected loss is likely to be.
My loan book is about 40% late. Mostly £50 each and in auto lend. It makes me unhappy to see that in auto lend I ended up with 6 x £50 on some loans which I would have preferred to avoid. What is the lowest you can invest in self select?
I might go back to lending with them one day, but they need to clear the decks first and get a grip of customer service which has been woeful.

This evening received updates on 6 of my overdue loans. Really very little meaningful comment on any of them.
When are CP going to avoid these overdue loans and when they are in trouble to take some meaningful action.
Haven’t invested with CP for over 2 years now.

I have not made any new investments in CP for years and have a rump portfolio, all years overdue, but when I used to they did a video presentation for each loan. Do they still do that? I recently replayed one in a masochistic moment and after all the optimistic bull***t he said words to the effect "The next step is for you to do your own due diligence". However the absence of transparency makes that imposible. If I had known then what CP knew then and have subsequently revealed I would not have invested. If they still do these videos do they still include that?
