Just received an email from Wellesley offering "up to 6.75%" to existing investors for new money in 18 months. No clarification on the website.

"As a valued customer who has invested a substantial amount with Wellesley & Co. over the last 18 months, we are providing you with this exclusive offer for 7 days only."I don't know what the threshold is, as I'm well in five figs .... ... Ever tried fig and banana puree? edit: It's on any deposits from £10, and only shows when you log in ..... but so far it doesn't!! I have emailed them.

I'm well into five figs too (gippy tummy springs to mind.........) and just logged on but nothing there, obviously some of us are valued far more than others.........not that I'm bitter........ I'd be most grateful for any updates. Ooooh just remembered I turned down their offer of a free kindle a few weeks ago, maybe I'm off the Christmas card list!

I have invested at 6.75% for 18 months, love that faster banking.

All I could get before (old page) was one month, one year, three years and 5 years.

Ooooh just remembered I turned down their offer of a free kindle a few weeks ago, maybe I'm off the Christmas card list! Halfway to six figures, but also blew off a Kindle recently. No offer here either.

Hmm ... also 5 figures. No email (but I wasn't invited to the drinks either until the very minute having not receieved the December email). No 18 month term listed after pressing the select your term green button after logging in wellesleyco could you perhaps enlighten us as to the eligibity of this offer ? Edit: Kindle ? What Kindle ? Would have been nice to know there was a Kindle on offer.

Wonder how W.& Co made their selection: five-figure lenders? Would feel frustrated if that offer hadn't come my way.

I have two accounts, both five figures, no email but I can't even see the 18 month term let along an offer - nothing offered between 12 and 36 months? Jack P

Perhaps the offer is aimed at "substantial" investors who haven't increased their stakes since rates were dropped for the second time.

Jack P Definately be worth an email or call to them I reckon as you seem to fit the same profile as a few of us. I have had a mid five figure sum with them all on 30 day market, for a couple of months and have added to and withdrawn the odd few thousand here and there.

Old Grumpy - you don't have the email but can you see the 18 month product on the site at all? Surely they wouldn't be an entire product range only open to a selected few? Jack P

I didn't receive the email but when I hit "select your term" I can see both the 18month products. Maybe you have to have cash in your holding account in order to see it?

I couldn't see the 18 month at all yesterday, until the evening, when I suddenly could. I put some cash in it about 8pm. Mabe the offers are spread around randomly from time to time. I didn't know about the free Kindle offer, I was invited to drinkies in Feb, but London is too far for a bit of posh booze!
