There is usually a fair few loans a week enough to keep you ticking over but will take awhile to get big money invested.

Whenever I log on to unbolted, I always think they wanted "unhinged" but it was taken.

Just put 1000 into unbolted and used the auto invest gold standard setting. Set to invest 100 in each loan. Anyone an idea how long it will take to invest the 1000? Thanks. For anyone interested it took 5 weeks for the £1000 to get invested although I did change the setting to "invest in all loans". Very happy with things so far.

Lucky you - I had the same limit (£100) and have been allocated a grand total of £10 over first two weeks

And it's taken 4 weeks for my second £1000 to be invested but I did increase auto invest up to £150 in each loan. Still happy.

i am new to unbolted so my only comment is about communications from unbolted, so far it couldn't be better. i am using the auto lend function but it didnt lend to the only loan available so i did a manual loan and that worked fine, i know its a slow process investing this way but thats pretty much the same on all P2P sites that i use

I have been on here since June and have only seen 1 other odd-ball. I only use 'Provision Fund' on auto and my last allocation was on 18 Oct, and 2 the day before. If you missed out on them make sure your 'Maximum proportion of loan' is set to 1 (don't worry, the chances of actually funding the whole of a loan are nil).

I think with Unbolted you need to slowly drip your funds in, if you just make a huge deposit and wait for it to be fully invested you will be waiting months. I just check every 2-4 weeks if I've hit near £0 and then top it up a bit more.

I like to keep my balance at slightly more than my bid limit. I think that the chances of 2 loans large enough to approach my limit going live on the same day would be pretty small. An email comes as soon as a bid is taken, including the amount, so I have an idea straight away if I need to top up and, as I said earlier, the money seems to arrive within an hour or 2.
I expect it will take the best part of a year to reach my platform limit (on the 0.85% loans only).

i am adding funds as and when my cash gets below £100, its not earning much in the bank before i move it but at least its earning something. does interest get paid at the end of the loan period or a set date.

I asked them this myself and they said that on most of their loans the interest is repaid together with the capital at the end of the loan.
