All the P2P Sites promote the total lent since day 1. This distorts the impression of the overall loan book due to repayments. RS passing £100m in Outstanding loans (Last week?) is a nice round number worthy of a small celebration, as is the transparency which allows this number to be reported. Well done  |

Thank you for the kind words. We didn't blog about it, just one Twitter tweet. And no drinks internally. Don't know why really, perhaps we're just all "milestoned out" with so much happening thick and fast.
I personally can't claim much credit, you really have to admire Rhydian and Peter for their original vision and dynamism to make it happen. The provision fund was a world first and helped bring p2p into the mainstream. RateSetter is the only established P2P Lender in the world that has given every lender every penny of capital and interest expected back. They think big, and perhaps when the outstanding balances are £1billion they'll take a moment to enjoy the achievement....
