i have just over £12k invested in the monthly market. Apart from interest payments it has not changed for several months. Repayments have always been reinvested at market rate the same day. Today I got a statement saying interest for the month was £17.93. That's about 1.76% pa. A tax statement for Aug gives the same figure, but one for July shows £35.21 (3.46%) and one for June shows £31.24 ((3.07%).
What's going on?

Your August returns are lower probably down to not receiving any interest payments for the last three days of the month due to the weekend and bank holiday.Adversley your September interest will be higher due to those last three days of August interest being repaid to you on the 1st of September.
