"So it's you that has the SuperYacht from the other platform (SS)"paulgulNot quite, but I wonder where all those narrowboat builders/restorers/fitters are getting their loans now that SS has kicked them out of the dry-dock and off the canal bank! SS never used a genuine picture for those, and even used the same picture for boats of different lengths and ages.

I'm afraid reading this thread the only boat that springs to mind is a saga cruise ship!

I'm afraid reading this thread the only boat that springs to mind is a saga cruise ship! I might have to confess to a P&O preference, but I am (deep breath) trembling upon the brink of the biblical three score years and ten....

I expect they're still getting their loans from Lendy which are no longer being passed on via SS on the basis of being far too small.

Lendy or Lendy-marine afaik are not accepting any new loan applications.

PS. Ed has been very helpful when we have been able to arrange things, but that needs an announcement before I float off (yes I did say and mean FLOAT, not a euphemism). So it's you that has the SuperYacht from the other platform (SS) Had been wondering if OG was actually the PEP owner. (Pedantic Endearing Primate?)

So it's you that has the SuperYacht from the other platform (SS) Had been wondering if OG was actually the PEP owner. (Pedantic Endearing Primate?) OG is actually the LTV (Loan Trigger Vehicle) who enables new loans to appear on the platform when he is away and can't join in! Nothing for more than three weeks, and I've been here overpotassiumizing most of that time. *I've withdrawn all sleeping cash (as I said I might) and that helped fund my ISA while the stock market was just over 6000. So you can all go to sleep until next Monday when I will be away for a fortnight!!!!!!!! Fillyerboots, folks; I don't think even Ed can help me this time! This platform has stalled badly. * Come to think of it, those B*****s at AC have had nothing for weeks despite all their predictions, yet eleven loans are now listed for drawdown in the time I will be away!!! Yeah, right - that means two (if I'm lucky!)
but good news ... TODAY .. an AC account which will pay me a bit of interest while my cash awaits drawdowns ..... yeah! right! ..."Unfortunately...."

I just knew my holiday would jerk Ed into action!!!
"I suspect there won't be much left to bid on after existing lenders opt to roll-over their investments"
Probably nothing, so I'd better just renew too - if I got them in the first place.
Hey-ho!
"I feel a pre-fund model coming on MoneyThing!"
Bring it on, Ed!!
PS I notice the last two emails from MT have been sent via the platform provided my fifth cousin four times removed (Old Chimpy).

It's a bit disappointing for those of us who want to up our investment level but at least we don't have the problem of finding a home for maturing loans in the case of the MPs.

Can anyone explain to me how the Moneything / Cash Shop relationship works? Is MT buying these loans from Cash Shop and owning them outright? What if Cash Shop goes belly up? Who owns the collateral?

With all these renewals to fill I think it may well go even more quiet Except that is for the finger frenzy when we all chase the solitary £100 that someone forgot to renew
