I can't connect with Funding Knight at the moment. Haven't go much in it, just wanted to check out a few things.

For me too. Unusually I'm just getting a blank page and no error message, not even one from my browser.

Unusually I'm just getting a blank page and no error message, not even one from my browser. I've had that same symptom from another website I've used numerous times in the past. I wondered whether they might have stopped trading, but a bit of Googling produced no evidence of that. Also, I've continued to receive advertising emails from them, though clicking on any of the links in the emails just brought up a blank page -- not instantly, though, there was about a minute to wait before the page gave up trying to load and went blank. I wondered if my ISP had decided the website was a no-no and started filtering it out, though I would have expected a page to appear telling me that. I was using Firefox 26.0, so I tried IE 11 -- and the website comes up fine. So I guess there's something about the website that Firefox doesn't like or can't handle.

Doesn't appear to work with Chrome either. Maybe they've been bought by Microsoft :-)

Does anyone know if their offices (or servers) have been flooded out in Portsmouth? They sent me the Supa UK default email at 13:22 so maybe the waters took over. Someone should have put out a message on Facebook or Twitter though (or even here)!! We had this problem with another P2P recently. It only needs one brief message, and FK are usually excellent at informing people.

Given that it started after 5pm on a Friday I wonder if they even know themselves that something untoward has happened.

They may be online, but are they alive?
£4m total loans, zero live loans. Come on - the top three P2P sites are each lending 4 to 5 million a week?

I have moderate chunks in Assetz/FC/Ratesetter/Zopa and FK - FK is delivering decent returns for me and there's plenty of aftermarket loans. it's my favourite after Assetz - it doesn't have the drawdown delays - it puzzles me why aftermarket offers sit around so long. If it got more popular i guess loan rates would get bid down further Jack

FK is still alive, and loan activity has increased since November. As of early last week, there were three loans available to bid on, and I'm achieving a slightly better return than in FC.
Obviously, they are competing with increasing SME and finance broker recognition of the FC brand, but I don't think they're doing too badlygiven the head start the "Big Three" of P2P have had. Time will tell of course...

Hi all,
I can confirm FundingKnight is alive and kicking!
As you are all aware on Friday evening we had a period of downtime on our website. In this instance the automated notification tools in place failed to make us aware of the issue. The downtime started outside of normal office hours, but the issue was noted late Friday evening and reset to live. We have activated additional notification tools to limit this issue occurring again.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. If you have any specific questions you can contact us at info@fundingknight.com.
Many thanks Rich
