I notice there are some £0.00 entries in the Recent Investments list. How is that possible? Not sure I should post examples here, but I saved the details if needed. If you buy a loan part and then sell it again the value shown on the original transaction reduces until it is all sold, the entry remains but shows a value of £0.00. People sometimes use the SM to consolidate a number of separate loan parts of an individual loan into one. i.e. put up two or more parts for sale and then buy back the total availability. There is always the risk that someone else will buy your parts while you are loading more parts on, so it's safest to do it 2 parts at a time, and then consolidate the new purchases, etc.. Doing this will leave £0.00 entries in the Recent Investments list.

Yup - not bad considering investors in MTAG277 would be unlikely to invest in this one due to the security structure, so lots of new funds. Can't see why those invested in MTAG277 would not be interested in the new one - after all the interest rate is higher. I have both.

Dear MoneyThing .. Can we have some more, soon, please .. since you failed to put any limit in place, and I could not get to a PC in time .... 2.5 hours is not the 24 hours of availability I was told you were aiming for!!

And all gone at 18:33 ! Shame that Moneything no longer have bid restrictions. Fantastic news for those who are available between 4 o'clock and half past six, not so good for those who are working, travelling home from work, making the kids tea or watching Flog It. Be nice if now they've stopped bid restrictions they changed the launch time occasionally rather than at 4 o'clock all the time, simply to give everyone a bit of a chance. Maybe next time.

Well I can't imagine the later tranches will be as fast, there's going to be plenty to go round before this finishes (and I'm sure they will have restrictions on the next couple)

But hey ho, as always it's their prerogative to offer the loans as they see fit.

If memory serves me right, there's £1.5m in total of this loan, today was the 1st tranche of £300k so, another £1.2m to go & MT indicated that when one tranche is taken up another one should swiftly (hopefully) follow. I'm not too fussed I didn't get a bite of this as I surely can with the other tranches at some point.

I can't imagine that it will be too difficult to get some of this in later tranches. I got some of the first tranch, but now I have as much of that loan as I want so I won't be buying any of the subsequent tranches. I doubt I'm alone in that and so each tranch should get progressively slower and slower to fill.

Of course if the terms improve, say with cashback around tranche 4, I may change my mind.

I hate to moan, but the postponement on Friday followed by the very late-notice go-ahead email on Monday (1hr 51m before the loan went live) made this one difficult to secure a bid on. As Caratacus pointed out the 4pm bid start is a funny kind of time considering most people will be stuck in the office, but with a bit of foreplanning that can be handled (a cheeky toilet break with the smartphone, get the Mrs to log in and make a bid, etc). Anyway, I suppose what I'm saying is that here's hoping Tranche 2 comes along soon! [edit] Next one available tomorrow you say? Magic. Thanks very much MT, once again you deliver.

I like 4pm Given this loan was postponed from last week, I guess they could easily put tranche two up this Friday to meet demand.

There's another four tranches coming, I wouldn't think investors would be in every tranche. I have enough exposure to this loan after the first tranche and I would expect a few people are thinking the same...
