Just out of curiosity (I'm totally new to this stuff): what happens to the purchasers of units if for one reason or another the development falls through? Are they left with a worthless personal claim against the developers?

Hi Oldgrumpy, Sorry- it is a 14-15 month build. Mis-type. Kind regards Sophie Sophie, does that mean September 2017 completion?

Hi Oldgrumpy,
So sorry- what is wrong with me today?
Yes, Sept 17. They have given themselves 14-15 months and that includes some contingency.
Kind regards
Sophie

Thankyou SophieThing & MoneyThing. After also further info provided by phone earlier I am happy to be in on this deal. FWIW to other lenders me late to the party but rather liking the look of MT. Not investment advice DYOR but as someone who probably treads a bit more carefully & asks more questions than the average lender before committing funds I am happy to say that MT has, so far, ticked all my boxes. Also like their style, it's a bit more than that actually, but liking it liking it. I will be putting in quite a bit more into this deal once today's vote is clearer.

I live in Cardiff. I pass this area quite often, since it is close to a busy main road at one end. At present, there are no signs of activity at this site that I can see.
I will keep this thread updated as the development proceeds.

MoneyThing given the growth in SM buying opportunities.... Is it fair to assume that you will be waiting for tranche 2 to fully sell out before listing tranche 3/4/5 but that the overall plan hasn't changed with the overnight result?

it would be nice to see the further tranches of this listed and filled asap. I kinda got the impression they would be listed on a weekly basis and i dont really want my investment in the earlier tranches hanging around on a third charge for any longer than necessary.

This seems like one of the best loans on MT! Keeping my eye on the SM but keep missing out on the few parts that keep coming up! How do people monitor loans like this? Am I been archaic by hitting refresh every 10 minutes?

If you are that keen on it install a browser extension that monitors changes on the site and makes a beep when there is a change - rather than hitting F5 every 10 min,
