Watchdog weighs commission ban on P2P advice

I know of one pension platform that may select a sole provider P2P platform based in part on the one that is willing to pay it the most commission, possibly using an exclusive deal to increase the amount received. I doubt that they are the only one. Such things are clearly contrary to the best safety and profit interests of consumers, who need to diversify for protection and who can benefit from using smaller paltforms that may well not yet have deep enough pockets to pay maximum commission or deal on a higher paying exclusive basis.
