Any lenders here use a SIPP to hold there RS funds. If so was EPM or London & Colonial the only option of SIPP plan manager.

I would also like to get an answer to this. EPM's website is so pathetic it doesn't inspire any confidence. (Maybe I'm just used to ratesetters site which I honestly think is top quality)
I've very little confidence in securities at present and would love to park my pension funds in cash or p2p but the options seem very limited.

You can see the list of RateSetter SIPP partners here: www.ratesetter.com/sipp/It's a small list, but slowly growing. Kevin.

Do you know perchance if Hargreaves Lansdown might join that small list anytime soon Kev?

As I understand it HL plan to run their own platform. I could be wrong, but I don't expect them to partner with anybody.

Has RateSetter considered becoming a SIPP provider in their own right? The problem with SIPP Club and the like is that the adminstration fees are prohibitive to a person in my position, so if RateSetter could produce a tied SIPP with competitive fees it might be of interest to me.

The problem with SIPP Club and the like is that the adminstration fees are prohibitive to a person in my position, so if RateSetter could produce a tied SIPP with competitive fees it might be of interest to me. It very much depends on what sort of fee that you consider high. A RateSetter employee transferred his existing pension into a SIPP and was " happy" to pay the £300 odd a year on the management and didn't consider this prohibitive - it depends on the size of the pot. RateSetter is working very hard to get a low cost trustee on board, but P2P is not a standard asset and probably never will be as we don’t give valuations. RateSetter will in the short-term find it difficult to enter the realm of the free/low cost SIPPs as " we don’t satisfy the capital adequacy maths". This quote is the expert's, not mine. But we are trying, and just being available in a SIPP is an industry innovation. We already give more choice that any P2P competitor, and are trying hard to make this choice greater. Kevin.

Keep up the good work of sourcing low risk borrowers at the same rate :-)
