Seems to be sadly lacking from Rebs recently or maybe longer than recently. Have asked questions on a couple of late paying loans on the discussion tab as have others and struggle to get an answer, same can be said for emails. Other platforms i am investing on seem to make a point of contacting lenders, keeping us up to date, allaying fears and generally being approachable. I dont know how others feel but it does not encourage me to invest or reinvest any more until Rebs realize we do count.

I think they have a small staff and just don't find the time. I find them ok for e-mails, and the discussion pages may be difficult to keep up with, there being so many. The active loan discussion page set up is unique to Rebs, and perhaps sometimes we get a bit impatient and expect to much. They seem to get around to it eventually.

I have actually flagged up a couple of discussion items to them - I gather they don't always spot questions aimed at them. It would be nice if each thread showed a date of last post on its heading, as it is you just have to slog your way through the lot, every time, which cannot help them and rather pisses me off as well.

They do state under the discussion etiquette that any questions for RebS should be sent to them directly - the implication being that they don't actively monitor discussion threads (although it is obvious that they do do an occasional trawl.

Did email Nick 5 days ago about a borrower whose payments have all been late, so far no reply.

Well they might state it, but 1, who reads the etiquette yadda and 2, on most occasions we lenders are ALL likely to be interested ith the question so it should be on the discussion. I suppose they could have a steward(ess) call button as well.

Its no wonder they don't closely follow the various 'threads'. Some recent ones have become cluttered with personal angst and humanistic twaddle that has got nothing whatsoever to do with the loan application, and new people joining must wonder what's going on! Rebs certainly has a unique 'discussion board', and I rather like it, though the direction some discussions take is quite remarkable. Perhaps it's a good thing - we need a distraction to quell the nerves when investing in 18 - 20% loans.

Yes, clutter is the word, generally I find the discussions over on the TC Forum far more interesting and informative.
