Just curious to what other forumeers do? Are you in this for the long terms and reinvest interest or do you use a strategy where you withdraw interest to keep your platform balances at certain levels?

i reinvest interest although as only been doing it for a few months does not make massive amount of difference to my spread

I've been re-investing so far, but am reaching the point when I'm starting to wonder if I'll want to continue to do so on some platforms (just due to overall amount invested)...but until I get as much as I want in ALL my platforms then I guess I may as well....and rebalance later.

I intended to invest 1 or 2% in p2p of my investable money and this sits now at about 6% so invested far more then I planned, am going to put a bit on the new MT loans then I think I will pass on investing more just reinvest although I am classing PM as not p2p so I can have an excuse to invest more

Reinvest and top up although not always in the same platform depending on rates/loan availability at that time.
If there is nothing at all when interest comes in then I add to my position further on my ISA.
I'm in the very early stages of retirement planning and so many years into the future I will start to drawdown from p2p, as phase 1 of the plan kicks in, when I don't yet have access to either my private or state pension but could possibly not be employed if all works out as planned.

p2p interest is in my case what is paying the bills now I've taken (very) early retirement. However any surplus interest (plus some minor consultancy income) is being reinvested somewhere in the p2p sector.

Took very early retirement which is paid for from dividends and capital growth
So P2P is just a way to maximise my tax payments.

Without giving too much away in my case, the generally accepted implication of "very early retirement" is before private pension age (i.e. < 55 )

Mostly reinvest in order to compound interest unless I need some of the cash in which case I liquidate some money & withdraw.

In for the long term but I'm concerned about the possibility of a non conservative government in 4 years so I'm staying away from 5 year loans but happy to reinvest all interest in SS, FC, MT and short AC.

I've worked for myself for most of my life so I haven't retired, I just decided to stop working early! P2P/P2B is paying all the bills and I still have a surplus so that is being re-invested.

Having got myself debt free in theory I am reinvesting a sufficient percentage to maintain the value of the capital against inflation loses and using the remainder fund my hobby. In practice all of it gets reinvested due to the fact that I am well enough known for my hobby that I get appearance fees and so I am now looking towards early retirement.
