Things are not working too well today at MT towers.
Perhaps hang fire for a bit until some wrinkles are ironed out.

I'm sorry but when you suffer a significant IT disaster like today, you don't just blunder on...
MT have just lost a lot of the credibility that they have struggled so hard to build.
Tragic, no other word for it...

Mr t, the column "Bidding starts" in the "Pending Loans" tab tells you the date and time the loan will go live (similar to FS if you are familiar with that). There will be a limit of how much you can lend in the first 24 hrs (shown in the Limit column), while the "Restriction end" column will tell you when this limit will be lifted and anyone can bid as much as they have available funds (if any of the loan is still available).
Also, in the "Live Loans" tab; anything highlighted in yellow means that there is availability; no distinction between PM and SM, a bit like SS.

Yeah, we all find several hundred quid missing from our accounts, and ourselves invested in loans we don't want.
Happens every day.

Tragic, no other word for it... I'm not sure exactly what's happened, and I should start by saying I haven't been affected. I assume (from an MT email) that they are/have sorting things out. I think your posts all over the MT board are somewhat OTT. Show me the platform that has not had an IT glitch, the majority of P2P platforms are small organisations without even IT departments in some cases. The SM is new so not totally surprising a 'wrinkle' has arisen; MT has had a couple of glitches before, but somewhat refreshingly usually let's investors know fairly promptly, works through sorting things out and keeps them informed along the way. It hasn't dented my confidence in MT one iota.

Yeah, we all find several hundred quid missing from our accounts, and ourselves invested in loans we don't want. Happens every day. Are you honestly concerned that the affected loan-parts won't correctly be reallocated soon, or that you'll miss out on the chance to invest in the new loan? As I understand the issue, no money is "missing" from your account, it's just that you're currently still invested in loan-parts you thought you had sold. If I were affected, I think I'd be slightly kicking myself too for attempting to trade loans that had already begun the renewal process.

They found the glitch they explained, granted they could have waited but its not an issue as they know who has been effected so can correct it manually when needed,
