I'd be interested to know the default rate on loans related to Electronics managed portfolios? I realise the issues of the debt will refund MT for any defaults, but this says nothing about the originator's ability to underwrite these losses.

The write up for the managed loans says that they are managed by MT to ensure the 50% LTV is maintained.
I suspect this would be actually far too time consuming for MT and that in practise its left up to Cash Shop to do. For that reason I leave these loans alone.
If Ed could explain how MT manage these loans I might be more inclined to invest.

From memory, CS send through an updated schedule to MT on a regular basis as items are redeemed and others swapped in.

I treat these loans as a revolving credit line secured only on the solvency of the partner. Any firm can go bust but it is unlikely that some bad loans in one of these portfolios would push them over the edge. So IMHO the security of the asset is an irrelevant illusion.

Morning,
Cash Shop have developed a neat little program specifically for our joint relationship.
This software links in with their systems across all their branches with regards to loans, buy-backs & retail stock. On a daily basis they synchronise this program which highlights all agreements which have redeemed/defaulted contained within the MPs. The program then provides a list of unencumbered agreements to be able to replace them to maintain the appropriate underlying security.
This is then shared with us on a regular basis (with oversight of the unencumbered agreements). We then do our own checks to ensure it all agrees on our side also.
Kind regards,
Ed

Not counting the scraps, 45 seconds for CSP323. So clearly a few people have confidence in them

Apologies to those that missed it... I was also a little taken aback by how quickly this loan was taken up. For some reason, we had approx. 50% more users on the site at 4pm compared with other recent loans.
Regards,
Ed

Every other loan launch its been really quick to respond. Didn't stop me getting what I wanted, just took a few seconds longer than other recent ones..
